It's best to book ahead... A pleasant restaurant with refined, flavorful, and original cuisine at a very reasonable price for the quality. The service is friendly and discreet... remember, it's a restaurant, not a roadside diner... meaning you should take your time to savor the flavors. Good wines for all budgets... we've been twice already, once with friends and once as a couple... nothing to criticize, quite the opposite... If you enjoy taking your time and eating delicious food, then don't hesitate.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant, which has a very pleasant dining room. The cuisine was refined and generous, featuring excellent local produce, beautifully presented dishes, and very friendly service. We will be back!

A wonderful little gourmet restaurant, somewhat hidden away in the market square in La Châtre. Very professional. I had a fantastic risotto followed by a homemade crumble. All delicious!

We went to lunch at L'Escargot this Sunday and it was fantastic from start to finish. Excellent service, all the dishes were excellent, and the wine was excellent. Highly recommended.

16/05/2026: Lunch during the Ascension Day long weekend. The meal was just okay, but the service was poorly organized and chaotic, with a wait of about an hour. We were concerned to see neighboring tables being served promptly, suspecting an order hadn't been confirmed... a pit bull informed us that this happens!
13/05/2026: A very warm welcome. Excellent food and very efficient service. Highly recommended.

L'Instant Goû'Thé

22/03/2026: I highly recommend Instant Goû’Thé. It's become a real must-visit for me, whether with friends or family. You always feel welcome there, in a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The manager and her entire team are incredibly kind, always listening and attentive to everyone. I especially want to highlight their gentleness with my youngest child, who has neurodivergence: despite his sometimes overflowing energy, he is always welcomed with patience, respect, and a listening ear… and that's priceless. As for the food, everything is a delight! The chestnut cream sponge cake is my favorite. 🥰 The products are delicious, high-quality, and you can taste the attention to detail in every bite. I'm a complete fan! 🤤 We go at least once a week, and it's always a renewed pleasure! In fact, I'm there right now! 😃
