The service was excellent, the dishes were original and delicious. The value for money is fantastic. The homemade iced red berry tea was very refreshing in this heatwave. I highly recommend you try it too!

I've been a loyal customer of L'Escargot since it reopened. It's an excellent spot to work during the day, over a coffee or lemonade, but especially for lunch on the large veranda, bathed in sunshine all year round. The menu offers something for everyone and every budget; you're rarely disappointed. The team is fantastic ;)

Best restaurant in Aix, easy to reach with terrific, friendly, and professional service. Truly refreshing; they know how to treat customers and work hard to provide a good experience and delicious products. Wonderful restaurant with great food, daily specials, decor, and service. Really delicious, and breakfast is spot on. An Aix institution since around 63. Not a tourist trap, which is great compared to some dodgy tourist traps in the city center. A real French restaurant. You can get there by fabulous electric bus or on foot! Long live the snail!

The kitchen was closed when I got there so was directed over to their takeout location next door. I wasn't sure it was going be that good but it was great. It's pretty basic fare but excellent. I had a bagel sandwich with, I think it was, basil mayonaise and tender, sliced chicken. I also got a Greek salad. It was not that exciting but the ingredients were fresh and tasty. Very casual setting near the college so a relaxed vibe.
