I'm absolutely delighted with my experience at L'Escargot d'Or! The welcome was warm, the service attentive, and the setting very pleasant. The value for money is also excellent; I think it's definitely worth a visit!

A very pleasant restaurant, a very friendly head waiter who greets you, a benchmark in Saint-Étienne, always top-notch, just one small drawback: it's a bit warm upstairs. Otherwise, everything is perfect. Keep it up!

The famous Escargot d’Or! After hearing so many good things about it, I wanted to see for myself! I wasn't disappointed, but delighted! "Fries are for Belgians," but there are other delicious things on the plate! A first for me, and I love duck breast: goose duck breast! A real treat! And to top it all off, there's the praline tiramisu! We had a meal on the terrace on a Saturday evening, with impeccable service. Truly a great spot in Saint-Étienne!

The traditional cuisine was enjoyable. The atmosphere was refined and respectful of the clientele. I didn't give it four stars because I expected something more original in the way the snails were cooked, given the restaurant's name. I was a little disappointed, as we make the same thing at home.

13/06/2026: I received an exceptionally warm welcome upon arrival. The reception and service were perfect; the staff were truly attentive and caring. The food was excellent and perfectly suited to the price paid.
13/06/2026: I am completely satisfied with my experience at Le Dom's in Saint-Etienne, great atmosphere in a well-maintained setting, very warm welcome and attentive service, all this for an incredibly fair price, no waiting either, the cleanliness is impeccable.
