L'Esplan sur Saint-Paul-Trois-Chateaux

An ideally located hotel in the heart of the village, in a truly lovely setting. Special mention goes to the mascot, the cockatoo, which adds a touch of originality and cheer! The staff is always attentive and very welcoming. The room is comfortable and well-equipped, with welcome air conditioning. I particularly loved the magnificent Balinese-tiled pool. A very nice touch: you can order drinks at reception, which are then served directly by the pool. Finally, everything is within walking distance: the excellent restaurants in the beautiful market square are just a few minutes away. A truly wonderful place to stay!

Great decor, swimming pool and location in the heart of the village

A very nice hotel where my 14-year-old daughter and I stayed. The decor is truly refined and sophisticated, in the reception areas, lounge, etc. The light in the very old building gives the establishment a real charm. The room was spacious and the bedding very comfortable. The rooftop pool is really pleasant, with several freely accessible terraces. The air conditioning in the room was gentle and effective, without being too cold. Just right. The shower gel in the bathrooms smelled really nice, too. A little bonus for the person who greeted us, very professional and helpful. One very minor drawback: a couple, in the morning, decided to share their "happiness" of being together by leaving the window open and talking loudly... with the air conditioning, it wasn't necessary to make everyone, including families with children, hear them... but well, it's not the hotel staff's fault if some people lack consideration... 😅

A magnificent hotel with excellent amenities, beautiful and unique decor, and plenty of cozy nooks to relax in as you please. We particularly enjoyed the pool and pool house, as well as the peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was just as good as everything else, served in a stunning dining room. The room was spacious and clean. A place we highly recommend.

A truly wonderful little boutique hotel in a historic building in the old town, very tastefully furnished and stylishly decorated, partly with high-quality designer pieces. The overall concept of the renovation is clearly evident! Great breakfast, super friendly receptionist, dogs welcome, restaurants and a bakery around the corner, large parking lot directly opposite. 100% recommended!

Ideal location for spending the night in the old Saint Paul les 3 châteaux.

Great location, with plenty of parking near by. Room and cleaner service was very good, towels etc were changes when requested. No lift to the rooms, only I believe a spiral concrete stair case, not very good if you had a disability. However the basic room was very small for two people. very small hanging space with no bed side tables or any draw space. so Clothes etc which would normal go into a draws had to remain in the case or be placed on a window sell. The lights were very inadequate i.e. very very dim, one upturned wall light which gave very little light, plus one floor , which was not much better. There was another floor light in the wardrobe but that had no bulb. When packing to leave had to use the light on our phone to see and check that nothing was left. The bathroom was also very small, but the plumbing and shower was very good with warm water. Have said all that, will be booking again for next year, but will upgrade the room as the location is brilliant

We booked this hotel by chance online several years ago, and since then we've made it a habit to stop here before heading further south. It's always a pleasure to spend a night in this charming, intimate hotel. Worth discovering!

Comfortable rooms, great staff, great breakfast and great pool!

The ground floor lounges are pleasant, well-decorated, with a lovely patio and terraces, but the bedrooms are not of the same standard, and certainly not up to 3-star standards (small bathroom, poorly maintained...). The service was subpar. Breakfast was adequate.
