We had an excellent evening at this restaurant with its modern and understated decor and open kitchen. The meal was truly delicious: the "special of the moment" option offered us a melt-in-your-mouth beef tenderloin. A real treat! Surely one of the best restaurants in Laval.

We has a wonderful meal at L'Esprit last night. I have a food intollerance and the staff went out of their way to support and help with this. Their English and friendliness were exceptional. Some of the best food I have had in France!!! A must for all food lovers and for people that want a great evening.

11/01/2026: Coming from Caen, this is regularly our go-to spot. Always delighted, refined and hot dishes, impeccable service. A small restaurant worthy of a larger one, without the price.
06/01/2026: We chose the set menu. And we thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the dessert. The staff were friendly and very professional.

19/12/2025: Exceptional! First of all, thank you to the Google reviews; without them, I would never have gone into this brasserie, which is also a bar and tobacconist, and that would have put me off. Everything was perfect. And I'm quite demanding. The food is excellent and flavorful. The fish was cooked perfectly (that is to say, not overcooked, as is unfortunately often the case even in so-called gourmet restaurants), the fries were homemade and excellent, the wine was very good (according to my sister, a qualified sommelier), and the tea was high quality (Dammann). The service is friendly. The dining room is pleasant. It's a shame Evron is a bit far away because I would have liked to come regularly! Well done! And see you soon!
