L'estafette de Nicolas sur Narbonne

Nicolas es un gran anfitrión. Chapurrea un poco el español y te hace sentir como en casa. La pasta carbonara muy buena y en su punto. La lasaña considerable de tamaño y muy rica. Y el banofe (postre) espectacular. Me ha encantado.

My family took a train from Barcelona to the quaint one-time river port of Narbonne…and lunch was tops on the list of things to do. We found this very small sidewalk dining delight run by a sole proprietor who changes the menu daily…and is open from 11am to 3pm. Though our understanding of French is beyond limited, the owner went above and beyond to ensure that we had a special meal. And special it was! This stop will be a highlight of our European vacation. While we dined, it became apparent that this is a huge favorite among locals. If you visit Narbonne, a lunch stop here is a must.

While on vacation, I was lucky enough to come across this little gem of a restaurant. The atmosphere is warm, the cuisine delicious, and you feel that each dish is prepared with care. Special mention to Nicolas, the boss, who is really on top! His welcome and attention to detail made this experience even more pleasant. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal in a friendly atmosphere. Many thanks and keep it up!
