We had a lovely time at the Flemish tavern. We called at the last minute to reserve for five, mentioning that we had a dog. We were seated in a quiet area so the dog had its own space and water bowl. We ate very well, enjoying typical and generous dishes. The service was excellent and the atmosphere very friendly.

We had dinner at a rather unusual restaurant tonight. Upon entering, we were greeted by a fantastic decor and a very welcoming owner. The portions were generous, and so were the desserts. You can definitely go; you won't be disappointed, provided you enjoy Flemish cuisine.

05/06/2026: It's funny how a poutine place doesn't use the right cheese or the right sauce. It's tasty and filling, but it's nothing like real poutine. I'm baffled. Otherwise, the service is very good, the decor is great, and the atmosphere is pleasant.
30/05/2026: I didn't try the poutine, the house specialty, but I did have a generous portion of hanger steak with a delicious Maroilles cheese sauce. Everything is homemade, the owner is welcoming, and the service is attentive. A great place to eat near the LAAC.
