I highly recommend this excellent Flemish pub. Fries with a delicious traditional Flemish dish and a good beer 🍺 for great value. The service and welcome are superb, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is pleasant.

We love going there to eat. We always receive a very warm welcome and the food is excellent. The owner is fantastic: very pleasant and welcoming. We have a great time every time we visit.

What a pleasant surprise to walk into this little café! The storefront is unassuming, and yet! Inside, the atmosphere is warm and friendly. The owners and staff are incredibly kind. And the icing on the cake: the food is excellent. We'll definitely be back.

While passing through the area, we had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent and the food was superb! I didn't explore the whole city, but I didn't find a similar restaurant. So if you enjoy local specialties, I highly recommend trying it.

Stopped by this pub on the day of the Sea Festival with my band... Warm welcome... Excellent food... Great conversation with the owner... Not from the area, but after some research I chose this pub... Not disappointed at all... I recommend it... Typical pub menu... Reasonable prices. I recommend it if you're passing through

Be warned, the decor is really unique! That being said, I found the service a bit cold, bordering on rude at times (interrupting, talking while walking away with their back turned...). The owner is friendly. I tried a Welsh rarebit there, and having nothing to compare it to (first time trying it), I thought it was okay, but nothing special. The restrooms are in dire need of renovation.

A very unusual and quirky restaurant. We loved the decor. The staff is friendly. The Northern cuisine didn't quite win us over, but the plates on the other tables were practically empty! So go for it without hesitation.

26/06/2026: Given the quality of the food and the price, it's truly a must-try! If you're passing through, don't hesitate to book a table.
14/06/2026: Passing through the area, we had a wonderful lunch experience. The cuisine was inventive, flavorful, and refined, the portions were generous, the welcome was friendly, the service attentive and professional, the decor was attractive, understated yet modern, and the price was reasonable. The place does get quite noisy when conversations flow around the larger tables, but this didn't spoil our pleasant discovery. We hope to return as soon as possible to enjoy the terrace. Food lovers, be sure to book ahead; the place seems to be a victim of its own success!

05/06/2026: It's funny how a poutine place doesn't use the right cheese or the right sauce. It's tasty and filling, but it's nothing like real poutine. I'm baffled. Otherwise, the service is very good, the decor is great, and the atmosphere is pleasant.
30/05/2026: I didn't try the poutine, the house specialty, but I did have a generous portion of hanger steak with a delicious Maroilles cheese sauce. Everything is homemade, the owner is welcoming, and the service is attentive. A great place to eat near the LAAC.
