Ah, the delicious dishes of the north! Rich and hearty cuisine, the staff is super friendly, as is the owner. A place to recommend if you want to taste northern specialties... a truly excellent table.

The restaurant, the owners, the setting—unusual, but absolutely worth a visit. Authentic northern cuisine with the warmth of the north on the plates and all around.

A true traditional pub! Whenever I have the chance to visit northern France, I look for pubs. And I wasn't disappointed! First of all, the welcome was very friendly; the owner, Reynald, is a real character, passionate about his work and his local area. The decor is traditional, quite classic for a pub, but the witch theme was different and unique. A great selection of beers from northern France and Belgium, and the house beer brewed with coriander was amazing, a perfect accompaniment to the Flemish beef carbonnade, which was delicious. The tasting platter was flavorful and very generous; the dishes were very well-prepared and so fresh. We tried the Welsh rarebit, the Maroilles cheese tarts, and the tripe too. Excellent, everything was excellent. We went twice during our week in Dunkirk, and I highly recommend this pub.

The atmosphere is nice, it's really the simplicity of a pub decor and service (no frills ☺️) for the dishes it's average my beer chicken was way too salty and the fries are not homemade (but better than frozen ones anyway), the chicory crème brûlée is good.

I highly recommend this excellent Flemish pub. Fries with a delicious traditional Flemish dish and a good beer 🍺 for great value. The service and welcome are superb, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is pleasant.

Very good. Friendly owner and good local cuisine. One of the few independent restaurants in the neighborhood.
