A superb place! An incredible selection, and it's so good... Go there, you'll enjoy your meal. I recommend the pepper beef and the chili pork as well. The noodles are excellent.

Very good restaurant with specialties from northern China

Authentic Northeastern Chinese cuisine. The dried tofu is excellent, the sweet and sour pork is crispy, fragrant, and tender, and the grilled ham sausage is also delicious. Worth a try if you like Northeastern food.

I highly recommend the stir-fried dried tofu with green peppers; it's a really good and authentic Northeastern Chinese restaurant near Gare de l'Est in Paris.

As a lover of sweet and sour pork, I was recommended this restaurant by my friends from Northeast China in Paris. We decided to try it at Da Chi Er He (大吃二喝), a Northeastern Chinese restaurant near the Gare de la Riviera. So, I took the whole family there during the summer holidays, and it was definitely worth the trip – we were very satisfied. The owners are genuinely from Northeast China, incredibly warm and attentive. The restaurant's decorations, featuring large floral patterns typical of Northeast China, instantly transported us to the region and created a wonderful atmosphere. All the dishes we ordered were delicious, especially the sweet and sour pork and the sauerkraut with pork belly.

As a lover of sweet and sour pork, I really enjoyed the traditional, crispy, sweet and sour version made by the Northeastern chef – it's served without thickening the sauce! I also ordered braised pork belly with sauerkraut, colorful cold noodles, dried tofu with green peppers, and three skewers of lamb from Xiaoshu Lianxuan. All five dishes were quite delicious. It's conveniently located near Paris Gare de l'Est, perfect for grabbing a hot Chinese meal around lunchtime.

Don't be intimidated by this restaurant. We managed to order and pay without communicating in Mandarin or French. The clientele was mainly Mandarin when we visited which should demonstrate how authentic it is. There is a QR code on the table with an English menu and many pictures. You can order items without speaking to anyone! The skewers were well seasoned with authentic spices and flavours. The dumplings appear to be made in-house based on the imperfect pleats/folds. The cold noodle soup is very refreshing on a hot summer day. It tastes very similar to a Korean cold noodle soup (Mul Naengmyeon) with similar ingredients. The hot beef noodle has a light and savory broth.

It's consistently popular even on weekday evenings, with a constant turnover of tables, and many French people come to eat here – a reliable choice. 🍢 The fried skewers are dry and fragrant, with plenty of cumin; the lamb skewers and pork belly are the most flavorful, crispy and delicious, getting better with every bite. ✅ Highly recommend the salted egg yolk baked yam: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, savory and flavorful – a must-order. ✅ The Northeast-style cold noodles are tender and smooth, with a perfect layer of fried dough sticks, and the sauce coats them beautifully. ✅ The small portion of the hot and sour soup is enough for two people; it's tangy, spicy, and appetizing, with plenty of ingredients. Authentic taste, generous portions, and a pleasant atmosphere make for a comfortable and enjoyable meal.

Authentic Northeastern Chinese restaurant, affordable prices and generous portions! 👏 The grilled skewers were a little dry, but the ingredients were very fresh and the taste was good. 👍 The sweet and sour pork was quite authentic; the slices of meat were coated in batter and fried until crispy, with a fragrant vinegar sauce. The braised eggplant was a classic Northeastern dish, coated in batter, deep-fried, and then braised in a sweet and sour sauce—a very appetizing dish! 👏
