11/09/2026: I recently had a sudden craving for authentic Northeastern Chinese cuisine, so I tried this place.
I ordered Guo Bao Rou (sweet and sour pork), since it's basically the "signature dish" of Northeastern cuisine.
When it arrived, my first impression was: the portion was quite generous, the pork slices were beautifully fried, with a golden and crispy outer layer, not the kind coated in a thick layer of batter. Taking a bite while it was still hot, the first bite was crispy, but the meat inside was still tender, and the sweet and sour flavor was quite pronounced, but not cloyingly sweet.
The most important thing I care about with Guo Bao Rou is that it must be crispy.
Some restaurants serve it delicious, but after five minutes it becomes completely soggy, ending up as "sweet and sour fried pork slices." This place was quite good; the outer layer still crackled when I ate it, and the sauce hadn't completely softened the crispy shell. The sweet and sour flavor leaned towards the sweet and sour, which I think is more in line with the feel of Northeastern Guo Bao Rou, not that overly thick, industrialized sweet and sour sauce.
The pork slices themselves were also cut to a good thickness, so it didn't feel like you were eating nothing but starch. Served with shredded scallions and carrots, the sweetness is actually slightly reduced.
But if you're like me and came specifically for the "Northeastern-style sweet and sour pork," I think this dish is worth ordering.
Northeastern cuisine isn't the kind that's overly refined or eaten in a couple of bites; it's all about the hearty presentation and the satisfying taste.
And honestly, sweet and sour pork is best eaten while it's hot.
I'll definitely come again!
11/09/2026: I ordered the sweet and sour pork! It was incredibly crispy! I've officially declared it their signature must-order dish. It's made in a very authentic, old-fashioned way, with an extra crispy outer layer coated in a perfectly balanced sweet and sour sauce. It's so crunchy when you bite into it while it's hot! Plus, they give you a generous amount of meat, making it so satisfying to eat big chunks of meat!

09/09/2026: Unfortunately, we arrived after a festive weekend.
Our server was still feeling the effects of the night. And the evening was a disaster (long wait, numerous reminders to get our orders, a drink that ended up on the floor and was never replaced). The food was decent. The fries were so soggy that they disappointed everyone at the table. A few things need to be addressed.
Having summer parties for 300 people is fine... but not to the point of mismanaging the rest of the week and the customers.
08/09/2026: I came here for a drink… I felt like I was bothering them, and the service was so thorough they used a generous amount of ice to avoid overfilling the glasses!
So there you have it… to be served like that… I should have just walked away!
It's all well and good to laugh with friends, but it's still important to do your job properly.

23/08/2026: I ordered a quiche Lorraine and a chorizo quiche, but I ended up with two three-cheese quiches... well, I would have liked cheese, that wouldn't have been a problem, but I hate it. And that's not all, we also ordered muffins labeled "Nutella muffins"... it wasn't Nutella, it was just some old hazelnut spread.
15/08/2026: The quality has clearly deteriorated over the years; we were very disappointed this year with the quality of the bread and the limited choice of pastries, as well as the friendliness of the staff.

05/09/2026: These apartments are AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
The accommodation is very dilapidated and extremely dirty. The electrical wiring appears to be far from up to code. Cables for the roller shutter are exposed and hanging from the wall.
The dishes were dirty and greasy, to the point of being unusable. There was also an unpleasant odor in the apartment.
But the worst part is the environment: we found bedbugs.
Despite this, the same apartment was rented out again the very next day. I highly doubt the problem could have been resolved in such a short time.
I strongly advise against staying at this establishment and urge future travelers to be very careful before booking.
30/08/2026: We spent four nights at Camping Europe. Our mobile home was brand new and well-equipped. We enjoyed a peaceful, wooded setting.
The beach is just a few minutes' walk away.
We received a very warm welcome; the staff were friendly, helpful, and responsive.
Special mention to Julien and his great recommendations for restaurants and snorkeling spots!
We highly recommend it and will gladly return!

Des plats très chers pour une qualité très médiocre...
08/08/2024: Pire lieu. On nous presse sur les apéritifs ramassant nos cocktails non finis.
Le croque monsieur est un scandale englouti de sauce cocktail. La note on vous impose un poisson fade et trop salé trop cuit pour faire passer une note salée. Bref à bannir. On vous débarrasse au plus vite pour redonner votre table.

13/08/2024: Comment peut on mener un établissement en insultant les clients qui certes se sont peut être emporté devant tant de désinvolture car le service fut déplorable du début à la fin les cocktails arrivent 45 minutes après les apéros à partager ne sont jamais arrivés et que dire des plats arrivés au bout de deux heures d attente sans les accompagnements les frites qui ne sont jamais arrivés pour deux d entre nous ma fille obligé d aller chercher de l eau au comptoir
Vraiment un scandale et au lieu de faire profil bas le patron m a insulté
La vue est magnifique mais passez votre chemin
12/08/2024: Cadre sans contestation idyllique.
Manger sur le sable en face du coucher de soleil est un vrai luxe. Heureusement que le cadre rattrape les points négatifs.
Hamburger au brasero très bon mais le mieux étant de le servir en même temps que les frites, celles ci étant arrivées tièdes. Frites maison donc bonnes mais quand même tièdes.
Table réservée mais pas prête à notre arrivée. On nous a même pas demandé notre nom...pour finir le service moyen avec une serveuse en haut de maillot de bain. Bof bof. Et après on dit aux touristes de s'habiller !!! Ah oui et les verres sont pas bien lavés, plein de traces dessus. Le personnel peut mieux faire surtout avec une affaire en or entre ses mains.

07/06/2024: Endroit magique à tous points de vue. Accueil chaleureux, très bonne cuisine au brasero. Trés belle carte des vins et bons cocktails. La vue est magnifique. Je recommande !

Les serveurs de la paillotte vous accueil avec le sourire et vous propose des plats simple et copieux de qualité !
Pour une journée plage en famille l’endroit est merveilleux !
06/08/2024: Nous avons mangé à plusieurs reprises dans ce restaurant , les pieds dans le sable au bord de la mer.
Les serveurs sont très sympathiques et les plats sont bons et copieux.
