At L'Etoile du Maroc, it's Madame Houria (her first name) who welcomes you, prepares the dishes, serves you, and engages you in conversation if she senses you're alone and need to talk. Her lilting accent is delightful. I've enjoyed her Moroccan cuisine for years. I love her tagines, but I particularly recommend her pastillas, which you should order in advance. An explosion of flavors! I ate a chicken pastilla meant for several people on my own. It was like a delicious cake. Don't refuse the complimentary tea at the end. It's wonderful. I've even stopped just for one cup, along with homemade pastries. The dining room is spacious, perfect for family meals, gatherings with friends, or more intimate dinners for two. As you can tell, I love this place. Houria is like that Moroccan grandmother you wish you'd known.

Honestly, I absolutely loved this Moroccan restaurant ❤️ Everything is homemade by a lovely grandmother, incredibly kind and generous. The dishes are amazingly delicious and very generous; you can really taste the homemade quality and love in the cooking. A special mention for the pastilla: it's normally made to order because everything is prepared by hand (even the briks!). I wasn't aware of this, but she agreed to make it anyway, and I waited a little while to get it… and honestly, it was totally worth it. It was simply the best pastilla I've ever eaten 😍 This is a rare find, both for the quality of the food and the warm welcome. I recommend it 100%!

Excellent Moroccan restaurant! The atmosphere is incredibly warm, the service is impeccable and discreet. And the food... a delight, everything is so delicious! A must-visit if you want to eat well and have a great time.

We ate very well, everything is homemade, there's a delicious vegetarian couscous and the merguez sausages are good, so great for all tastes. The harissa is delicious.

Family-run restaurant. The Moroccan couscous and the prune tagine were delicious. All in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
