L'Hermitage sur Buzancais

The hotel is advertised as 3 stars and the restaurant as 2 stars, but this should be reversed. The menus, while a bit pricey, were worthy of a top-tier restaurant, with impeccable service. However, the twin room we had in the annex, while very clean with comfortable beds, was too basic for a 3-star hotel. There was no welcome tray, not even a small bottle of water and glasses. We had to use the cardboard cups from the bathroom. The bedside lamp didn't work, there was a tiny TV, and only one chair. Otherwise, the welcome was very warm, and the hotel is situated in a beautiful park.

I went to the Hermitage for dinner. Great location, pleasant setting, efficient staff. The dishes are generous, the only slight complaint is that they are a little too salty, but that's a personal opinion.

After spending a night at this hotel for business, I can only recommend it! The welcome was perfect, the restaurant food was absolutely delicious, and the breakfast had everything you could want. The bed was comfortable. I will definitely be back.

A very warm welcome. The lunch on January 1st, 2026, was refined and generous. Delicious! Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.
