This gourmet restaurant truly deserves the "Gastronomic" label. The concept is original, and the dishes are a waltz of flavors and a firework display for the taste buds. The welcome is warm and full of humor. And since it's small, it's easy to feel right at home.

As a Wonderbox gift, we chose this restaurant and we weren't disappointed. The food was very good and refined, and the staff were very kind and friendly. I highly recommend it.

A very nice lunch today. One star for the "peanut" dessert with its subtle and delicious mustard ice cream (I admit I was a little worried, haha, but it was perfect).

A very good first experience at this restaurant, which offers the kind of menu I really appreciate (not too many dishes; original presentation). Good service, pleasant atmosphere (not too close to neighboring tables), and very well-executed dishes, with an original presentation of two recipes on the same theme/ingredient (a bit like Le Lièvre Gourmand, but less formal). I'll have to go back to confirm, but it could replace the sadly missed Parenthèses, which was my go-to spot in the center of Orléans (along with La Dariole before the change of ownership).

We had lunch at L'Hibiscus today. Reservations are essential, and you should arrive on time. The food is excellent, almost Michelin-star worthy. Fresh, creative, and bold – keep it up! However, the wine pairing was disappointing. Unfortunately, the wines didn't complement the wonderful food; they were simply three good wines by the glass. A shame, this costs them a point in my book. Please do better in the future, or perhaps consult a sommelier, which might even lead to that well-deserved first Michelin star. I would love to see you achieve it. We'll gladly return in a year.

Delicious and welcoming. Simply a delightful surprise that hinted at a good experience, but not quite this good. Instead of Orleans, it ended our trip to the city in the best possible way. Highly recommended 👍

Despite the lack of air conditioning, the welcome and service were excellent; the staff were smiling, attentive to orders, and responsive to any requests or questions. As for the food, it was a delight for the taste buds! The aromas, flavors, and textures—from crunchy and crispy to tender and melting—were all there! A very pleasant contrast. A fantastic interplay of flavors, expertly executed and perfectly served, with a refreshing touch of cold within the hot elements. Stunning! Bravo! I'll definitely be back! 😉

16/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The service was impeccable and attentive. The food was fresh and delicious. A very good experience.
14/08/2026: La Sole Dorée on a little back street near the Hotel Mercure Centre, where I was staying, is a wonderful hidden gem. I was charmed by the atmosphere & service, & absolutely blown away by the food! My first meal there was lunch where I had the eponymous sole which the waitress beautifully prepared for me at the table. At first, that was an "amuse bouche" of the best gazpacho. I've had all summer. Also, a wonderful fish dip served with little toasts. When I went for dinner, the starter was grilled watermelon (on the menu, a play on words, "pas steak"), quite delicious, surprising, and refreshing. After that, a wonderful turbot with foie gras sauce(!) It was sublime. I actually had dessert. Twice (lunch & dinner.) Little "trompe l'œil" mushrooms (or cèpes) made out of two scoops of ice cream with meringue "caps", and chocolate sauce. And, after the dinner, baba au rhum, with the bottle placed on the table, just in case. Most highly recommended.
