Pleasant welcome, a bit of a wait for our table (understandable, it was busy), efficient service, the meals were excellent and very generous 👍. The only downside was that we would have preferred peanuts instead of popcorn with our aperitif, and we weren't offered any dips or bread. Otherwise, I highly recommend this restaurant because the food is excellent.

I've lived in Burgundy for 20 years now. I came to Calais to visit family; we came during the week and had Welsh rarebit and mussels. Everything was delicious. Tonight, I'm coming back with friends, and we'll have Welsh rarebit and mussels again.

Passing through Calais, Hovercraft exceeded all my expectations. The dishes were delicious and generous; the food was truly excellent. The service was impeccable. The servers were friendly, welcoming, and highly professional. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making me want to return. I'll definitely be keeping this address in mind. Thank you to the entire team for this wonderful evening! A special mention to Lizzie, who guided us through our menu choices with great kindness and professionalism. We received a very warm welcome and, thanks to the English spoken, there were no communication problems. The food was delicious and we were all satisfied in the end. The price was absolutely reasonable – we paid €115 including tip for four people (two adults and two children).

20/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at your restaurant celebrating our father's 90th birthday, surrounded by our entire family, including children and grandchildren. We received a very warm welcome. The meal was delicious, the service impeccable, and the whole team was incredibly attentive, allowing us to fully enjoy this beautiful celebration in a friendly atmosphere. The sea view was magnificent, and the parking was very convenient. Everything was perfectly organized and contributed to making this day a truly wonderful memory. A big thank you to the entire team! We highly recommend this restaurant.
