Hello, This isn't the first or last time I'll come here with my wife to enjoy one of the many Welsh dishes. The service is quick, the food delicious and served promptly. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Thank you to the Hovercraft team. See you soon :-)

The service was fantastic. The waiter was exceptionally polite and helpful, as was the waitress. They explained the entire menu and recommended what to eat and drink. It's a wonderful place, worth visiting and sitting down for a meal and a drink.

Excellent welcome and perfect service. The food was perfect. The atmosphere was a bit noisy, perhaps due to the materials used, which amplified conversations. Overall, though, a good impression 👍

Not a reference point for Welsh rarebit for nothing. Just make sure you're active in the afternoon because it's quite heavy on the stomach, but oh my goodness, it's delicious! I recommend it.

This is our second time at Hovercraft, and it's definitely the place to go when you want a delicious meal. The Welsh rarebit is truly the best I've ever tasted, and the servers are great. As for the atmosphere, the decor, and the cleanliness, it's impeccable. Go without hesitation!

First time at Hovercraft for my partner and me. We had a Welsh Buffalo and a Tex-Mex, and it was excellent! The welcome and the staff were very professional and very friendly. We will definitely be back!

Au Vieux Fourneau

26/09/2026: I had a very nice Sunday evening in this restaurant, I really enjoyed the menu and the team that welcomed us was really great, thank you to them!
24/09/2026: Excellent restaurant! We called the restaurant at 9 pm for a dozen people, and the owner said it was no problem, unlike other restaurants on the street that refused to accommodate us because of the late hour. We were pleasantly surprised by the presentation and flavor of the dishes; they were delicious. Upon arrival, the owner offered us complimentary appetizers: gazpacho and cod fritters. I highly recommend this restaurant; you'll be very impressed. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.

Le Grand Bleu

26/09/2026: A truly wonderful discovery! This restaurant boasts magnificent cuisine, truly exceptional, worthy of a gourmet establishment. The service is top-notch, and the staff are incredibly pleasant and kind. We even brought our dog, who was very welcome. I recommend it 1000 percent! We're from Belgium, and we'll definitely be back when we're next in Calais. You can go there without hesitation.
19/09/2026: A great experience at Le Grand Bleu. My father thoroughly enjoyed his Toques d'Opale menu. Excellent from start to finish, which I highly recommend over the Plaisir menu I chose; it's a bit more traditional, but I still ate very well. Pleasant setting. Friendly staff.
