L'Imaginaire sur Lille

Appreciable, although too noisy in reverse.

I really like L'Imaginaire for the variety of the menu, the value for money and that incredible terrace overlooking the Treille.

I always have a great time here, and thank you to Ina for being so professional and for trying to resolve a tricky situation. She's very pleasant and always smiling. Anyway, thank you to her.

Excellent experience at L’Imaginaire bar in Lille. I was charmed by the artistic atmosphere and the original decor, a blend of soft lighting and vintage objects. Our waiter, Thomas, was welcoming and very professional. Special mention goes to the signature cocktail, “Rêve Noir,” which was perfectly balanced. A friendly place, ideal for an evening with friends. I highly recommend this unique establishment. Their quick service and helpful advice make every visit more enjoyable.

The cocktails are well-made. The service is lacking; it took 15 minutes to deign to take our order while four people were chatting amongst themselves behind the bar. Avoid if possible.

Overall, a mixed review. We didn't eat there, so I can't comment on that aspect. I'll only comment on the service we received for drinks, and it didn't leave a good impression. The friendliness was very poor; barely a greeting upon entering, four servers chatting amongst themselves and taking an interminable amount of time before deigning to take our order (luckily, the one who served us was relatively helpful). The others walked right past without so much as a glance, so a smile was practically unheard of. The staff, however, were young and not supposed to be jaded by their work. We won't be returning.
