The food was super good! The staff was extremely friendly and gave perfect advice. They were also the first to speak fluent English. Definitely recommended if you visit Bayeux!

Top-notch restaurant, Maïte is truly professional and very pleasant. The pommeau as a digestif was a nice touch 😉. It was a joyful and enjoyable time, with the added bonus of meeting some Canadians at the next table, which was very pleasant. Don't change a thing.

Lunch during the Bayeux Medieval Festival. We happily discovered this restaurant during a lunch stop. The ladies on staff are truly wonderful—kind, friendly, and welcoming. The fries are genuinely homemade and perfectly crispy. The mussels in cream sauce were fresh and plentiful. The red meat was perfectly cooked. Thank you for the clean restrooms. A very pleasant memory of this perfect, relaxing moment. Michelle and Nadine

11/08/2026: Excellent value for money. €26 for the set menu (starter, main course, dessert). It's well-executed, home-style cooking. The menu is simple (one daily special, one grilled dish, or pizzas for main courses) and efficient—nothing to complain about (and homemade!). The service was great despite the August rush and the many tourists wandering between the restaurants in the historic center.
