Adresse trouvée dans un guide. Au début, l'accueil était un peu froid puis ça s'est détendu. Des plats basques avec des produits locaux. J'ai mangé une des meilleurs côtes de porc de ma vie (venant d'un élevage de Corrèze). Une excellent adresse

Very warm welcome, there were 3 of us (2 + a dog) We were seated at a table well placed for the peace of mind of our animal who received his water bowl after being installed. Concerning the meal, a menu with many choices but not excessive which allows you to have dishes prepared and cooked on site. We had a typical charcuterie board, very good. Then my husband had Bouchots mussels cooked a la plancha with sweet spices and an Iraty ossau, for me an axoa and an Instant Basque ice cream sundae. Everything was excellent as well as the wine. All served by pleasant and caring people. Very reasonable price. We will not hesitate to come back as soon as we are in the area. Well done to the whole team

The hotel where we were staying recommended L'Instant Basque to us, and it was a great discovery. The dish of the day, monkfish, was succulent, and the Basque cake delicious! The staff took great care. I highly recommend!

A little disappointed... For the anecdote: we were hesitating for our vacation between the Basque country, which we already know, or the area of ​​Brive, still unknown to us. If I leave this review, you can imagine the destination. Only we found it fun to go eat in a Basque restaurant to combine the two places. We know the atmosphere of cider houses and family Basque restaurants, and we hoped to rediscover the generosity and welcome of the latter. Disappointment comes next. Very neat welcome (too neat) almost making us feel uncomfortable. Restaurant atmosphere based on elevator songs, we are far from irrintzina and typical songs... As for the service, it was like the welcome... very cordial, and very professional, but lacking in friendliness... The piquillos/axoa/Basque cake menu was not bad, but a little bland... I still notice the homemade which is entirely commendable, but perhaps not completely mastered. We still had a good time, even if the restaurant did not meet our expectations at all.

Great discovery. While passing through Brive, we chose this restaurant thanks to previous comments. Everything was perfect, the welcome, the service, the cuisine, the wine, the setting. I recommend without hesitation.

Établissement conseillé par notre hôtel juste en face. Un bel accueil, une déco basque. Le patron en salle associé au chef de cuisine, maîtrise totalement sa carte et ses recettes. Une sangria maison 1/2 litre à 8€ super et pas noyée dans des glaçons. Nous avons pris le jambon bellota 48 mois. Un tartare bœuf Limousin label rouge avec pommes grenailles. Un pavé de merlu desarreté, préparé à l'espagnole donc cuisiné à l'unilaterale servi sur un écrasé de pomme de terre avec concassé de tomates et persillade. Tranches d'ail frit sur le dessus, leur spécialité. Au top. Ils le font aussi en pièce entière découpée devant le client. C'est superbe. A tester absolument.
