Magnificent restaurant "L'instant Basque" in Brive La Gaillarde, where we enjoyed an excellent Limousin rib of beef (cooked to perfection), accompanied by an equally excellent Basque wine. Great professionalism and kindness from the owner towards us and our 2 dogs. A big thank you to you and your team 🙏🏻. We will come back as soon as possible.

What a wonderful evening! A whole hake with garlic served boneless on a plate was a real treat. The portions were very generous, so we decided to share a charcuterie board for starters and an exquisite Basque cake for dessert so we could enjoy our extra-large fish! A guided and well-served wine by the glass. A pleasant and sincere atmosphere. Dogs are more than welcome and are provided with a bowl of water. Ours received a lovely surprise from the chef and the chef himself. Thank you for this wonderful time.

I just had lunch at this restaurant, everything was perfect. However, order the rice pudding before coming, it's just extraordinary. The fish, the can, perfect, nothing to complain about, I highly recommend it.

Very clean and well decorated restaurant, you feel like you're in the Basque country! IRREPROACHABLE service and very very pleasant staff 😁 We eat very well there and the food is EXCELLENT 🤩

Disappointed with our experience, with a really slow service... So we passed on dessert, for fear of having to wait another 45 minutes before receiving it. Too bad because the dishes were otherwise good and well presented.

21/01/2026: I was greeted by Floriane. Exceptional welcome. Everything is homemade. I recommend it 1000%.
15/01/2026: Fantastic place! The lady who runs the bar and restaurant is absolutely exceptional: incredibly kind and welcoming, with impeccable service. The service is lightning fast, with no waiting at all, whether for cocktails or food. Everything is 100% homemade, and you can taste the difference! I recommend it 400%!

Restaurant Crêperie l'Odyssée

23/01/2026: Excellent crêperie. Perfect service, very tasty food. The butter and sugar crêpes could have used more butter.
02/12/2025: Excellent place! The savory and sweet galettes are delicious and generous! The waiter is friendly, helpful, and offers great advice! We paired our meal with a cider recommended by our waiter, and it was excellent! Very reasonable prices! I highly recommend it!
