I highly recommend the dishes on the daily specials board; I've never been disappointed! That day, I had "hake fillet with Nantaise sauce and Madagascar vanilla." I also recommend the clams as a starter. They were so good I practically licked the plate clean. And the famous profiteroles—I loved the slivered almonds on top! 😉 I didn't even feel like brushing my teeth because the delicious flavors were so wonderful. Thank you for your excellent food and service.

We had the Pors Ar Vag menu (fish soup, fish of the day, and profiteroles) as well as the Oasis menu (ceviche—beware, there's coriander in it, haha—rump steak Rossini, and profiteroles). Very warm welcome and excellent service. The meal was superb, as were the ambiance and the view. We'll be back this week for the mussels 😉

My food was excellent, but my vegetarian wife had to send hers back twice. One veggie dish on the menu. Asian noodles, sayay sauce and roast vegetables. No sauce (satay or other). Eventually home made tomato sauce added. Roast veg consisted of 2 pieces of courgette and one of green pepper. Eventually more courgette, pepper and onion added.
She enjoyed the tarte tatin dessert.
My brochette de boeuf was very good. Accented by salad and chips. My fish soup starter was also good.

We spent a late afternoon at Plage de Pors Ar Vag, enjoying a refreshing dip in the sea after a day of sightseeing in the area.
It seemed like the perfect opportunity to have dinner at Oasis, which is right on the beach.
Without a reservation, it wasn't possible to get a table inside on short notice, but it was possible to get one on the terrace. Oasis makes a distinction here: inside, they offer the full menu, including all set menus, while outside, only individual dishes are available – at least, that's how we understood it.
So we managed to snag a lovely table on the terrace and were lucky enough to watch the sunset over the sea. That deserves an extra star!
The service was attentive and very friendly; we received excellent service.
The gratinated clams as a starter, followed by the seafood platter and tuna tartare, were all delicious and beautifully presented.
We can wholeheartedly recommend Oasis, especially for its location and excellent food!

I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant; the food was divine. I had the house-smoked salmon as a starter, and I've never tasted anything so exquisite. It was like a soft pat of butter slowly melting on the tongue, with the intense flavor of high-quality salmon and a subtle smoky note. For my main course, I had the sea bass fillet with mashed potatoes, and it was absolutely brilliant. A perfectly cooked sea bass fillet with a golden-brown crust, nestled within perfectly textured mashed potatoes. For dessert, I had crème brûlée, and again, it was simply divine—the delicate vanilla flavor with the perfectly flambéed sugar crust. The service was outstanding and very attentive; the staff even explained how the ingredients are prepared in-house when needed. Wow, it was truly an experience that one sadly doesn't get to do very often. Highly recommended!

We would have loved to eat on the terrace to enjoy the superb view.
But it was occupied by smokers. So we had to go inside, where the view was much less appealing.
That didn't stop us from being bothered by the smoke, as we were right in the middle of a draft.
Furthermore, they refused to take our entire order when we started eating, which meant our dessert was no longer available…

This restaurant has a beautiful location with a terrace at the foot of the beach, super welcoming service and excellent cuisine, even the salads which is rare, from seafood to meats and even 1 vegetarian dish, there really is something to satisfy everyone.
