L'Odalisque sur Limoux

An excellent culinary break in this intimate restaurant. Very good value for money and high-end products. On the other hand, for a restaurant that aims to be bistronomic, it is not conceivable to have many spelling mistakes on the menu or at the entrance to the restaurant. “Our desserts” “Craft and local beers”… Hence the 4 star rating. Other than that, everything was perfect.

We have been frequenting this restaurant regularly for 3 years now, whether it is the friendly welcome from Abi or the delicious dishes from Sven, everything is impeccable. This is our best of restaurants.

However didn't give this restaurant 5 stars is insane. Each plate tells its own stories and the ingredients taste wonderfully both separately and together. The artfulness and depth of the food is uncanny. It was the best meal I had in France. Sure it's expensive for the region by well worth it. It will feed your soul.

Our favorite place for an in-town treat. We finally indulged ourselves in the top-end homard (lobster) menu at L’Odalisque and it was quite the blowout. Three courses of homard: lobster roll on brioche, lobster montgolfière (hot air balloon crust over a bowl of lobster bisque and lobster chunks) and the main event of a whole lobster with squid-ink pasta. We were stuffed but somehow made room for their yummy desserts. We’re also learning this summer about the wines from Faugères, yum. Reservations are a must. Lots of locals dine here. Two items of note. (1) The exposed stone walls make for a very loud room. (2) The portions are generous, so pace yourself.

Always one (or the) best restaurant in LIMOUX

A very good place to delight the taste buds. The dishes are sophisticated in their creation and presentation. Very warm welcome and quality service. The only downside is the acoustics of the room. We will come back.

Great restaurant, food is lovely and fresh and staff are very friendly and patient with our terrible French! Would thoroughly recommend to anyone.
