We had an absolutely fantastic meal. The ingredients were excellent and of very high quality. We had a similar meal at another restaurant in Strasbourg, and it was disappointing. The service was also very friendly and attentive. The dishes and cutlery were lovely. We'll definitely come back on our next visit to Strasbourg. Thank you!

We celebrated a friend's birthday. We booked a table for five people. It was a hot day, so we were seated inside. To get outside seating, we had to specifically specify when making our reservation that we wanted to sit outside. The polite staff moved us outside at our request, for which we were very grateful. We ordered escargot, a cheese plate, and duck and steak for the main course, and everything was delicious. The service was excellent. I recommend it, but it's best to book a table in advance :)

While in Strasbourg during our vacation, we had the pleasure of having lunch at L'Oignon, and what a wonderful discovery! Making a reservation was very easy, and the restaurant is easy to find thanks to its excellent location. The waitresses were very friendly, smiling, and welcoming. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. The menu is simple, clear, and perfectly showcases local specialties, which we greatly appreciated. We chose a shrimp and salmon salad, as well as a duck breast. Both dishes were excellent, but I must say that the duck breast was simply perfect: flawlessly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and perfectly seasoned... a true delight. You can immediately tell that the ingredients are fresh, high-quality, and prepared with care. Our sincere congratulations to the chef and the entire kitchen team. The restaurant also has a very pleasant air-conditioned dining room, as well as a terrace for those who prefer to enjoy the outdoors. We will gladly return on our next trip to Strasbourg. I highly recommend this establishment!

The staff were very attentive to the customer. The sauerkraut was very good. The meat was cooked as requested. A little noisy, which is normal for a full restaurant. No one regretted eating here rather than by the water.
