Excellent meal Good service I recommend

EXTRA! We had a great time, in a very nice atmosphere and excellent service. Family atmosphere and the best chocolate fondant in Lyon.

So there are still good restaurants at reduced prices in Croix-Rousse! The menu is small, but everything is fresh. Anyway, every time I go there (and I go there often), I have the Thai tartare which is simply exceptional! Homemade cross fries accompanied by petit béarnaise are particularly good (ratio (contact surface with cooking oil/volume of potato) higher than that of “normal” fries and that changes everything!). The desserts are delicious. The service is very pleasant, the bill surprising because it is particularly small. The best is Thursday and Friday evenings when you come across a regular bar-restaurant, with a very varied menu (the beef satay skewers are incredible!!!). The customers are very friendly, you can come alone without risking falling out of luck. The setting is also very pleasant, with a small fresco on the wall on which you have to look for perched birds with a design close to that of the Shadocks who got lost there. Painting exhibitions are organized in the restaurant and the paintings are for sale. Add to that the working piano (well, I think) and the darts game, and you're sure to have a great evening.

The food is good, the setting is pleasant (a little extra for the children's books which kept our children waiting), and the owner is as pleasant as she is energetic. A good time!

Hello,visited that place two times, as someone who grew up in Lyon my level of expectation is quiet high concerning restaurant. And I was much more than surprised. The place is located in a typical Bar, Croix rouse style, re-stylised lightly,enough to be practical and to remain friendly and warm.The service is dispatched with smile and good advices and food is a constant exploration, re- invented meals, pleasure to share, pleasure to discover.. Prices are much more than reasonable and wines are from the region, local circuit upfront. I can only recommend it !

Restaurant at Croix Rousse, very good dish of the day chicken tagine which took us on a journey and special mention to the chocolate fondant!! Fresh and well-chosen draft white beer. Very nice team
