Excellent meal from start to finish and perfect service. To recommend without hesitation

We used to go there during our shopping in Givet. We noticed that there is a change of ownership. We decided to test despite the first negative reviews. And we are disappointed! Although the dishes ordered are good, nothing more (despite the starter arriving cold), you are not given a carafe of water. You have to ask for it, if the waiter doesn't forget it along the way. This young waiter is of good will but seems to be very "lost" in his service. Not to mention the prices which have increased significantly compared to the previous operator!! Seafood tagliatelle at €46!! (Fortunately, according to the waiter, there were none left). Chicken pasta for €21 (a few pieces of chicken breast and pasta with tomato sauce)!! Coke at €3.50, etc... A big questioning is immediately necessary. What a shame but we won't be going there again.

Magnificent little restaurant located on the French side of the border just at the entrance to Givet. The service is great!! Very clean restaurant. Rather attractive prices. I have mixed feelings about the dishes, my husband came with a group of 20 people and he was the one who recommended this place and everything went well. So we're going there together, just to introduce myself and well, I'm disappointed :'( His dish, a gratinated veal escalope, delicious and for me, Italian spaghetti carbonara so with real Italian bacon and egg yolk, it wasn't very good, I'll explain why, the bacon wasn't good cooked and not well cut so it was a string of thick bacon and practically only hard fat because this Italian bacon is more like that. Which is a shame and that's why I'm noting it today, not to cause harm but for constructive criticism 😜 the very friendly waiter came to collect the plates and asked me if everything went well and I told him: not great and explained. Another person, I think the boss, was behind me, they exchanged a few words and then nothing, not an explanation, bill and goodbye. It's sad, I was just waiting for a little explanation or.... However, I wish a long culinary life for this lovely restaurant.

We were a group of 30 people. We were in a separate room upstairs. This was great so as not to disturb other people and so we were able to take full advantage of it. The food is very good and the service is also very good, even if it's always a little complicated for a group of 30 people. The waitress was extremely patient and well organized. In short, a very good evening. We will most likely come back during the next competition in Givet.

Très bon accueil, service rapide. Pour la cuisine pâtes trop cuites pour un resto italien et pas salées a la cuisson... un petit truc pour le chef... 1l eau pour 100 gr de pâtes et 10 gr de sel... on dit en italie que l'eau de cuisson doit avoir le goût de la mer....

Le restaurant a changer de gèrant et de personnels depuis le 14 janvier à découvrir absolument
