06/09/2026: My partner and I celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant on Saturday, September 5th, accompanied by our faithful dog, Sirius.
The welcome was warm. We called after 8:00 PM and were able to dine at 8:45 PM. We had been turned away from several other establishments because we hadn't made a reservation and/or our dog's presence was considered disruptive.
I want to emphasize the professionalism of the staff, both in the dining room and the kitchen. Our waiter, Christophe, was a lovely and attentive person. When he took our order, I told him I was vegetarian. When the amuse-bouches arrived, the message had been relayed to the kitchen, and the chefs prepared a dish adapted to my needs, much to my delight.
Christophe brought a bowl of fresh water for our dog without us even having to ask—a thoughtful touch that I want to highlight, as it's becoming increasingly rare these days.
I opted for the Traditional menu, and I wasn't disappointed. The dishes were prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, surprising flavors, and generous portions.
Christophe and his colleague regularly checked on us at our table to make sure we were enjoying our meals, and I assure you, we were—the empty plates don't lie!
Sirius even got a treat: a small portion of homemade rillettes—pure luxury! He didn't leave a crumb. :)
When the bill arrived, we were treated to petit fours: little chocolate fondants, wonderfully chocolatey and not too sweet... a real delight for a chocolate lover like me.
Thank you again to the entire team at Auberge de la Tour for this wonderful experience of sharing and delicious food. I highly and warmly recommend this place and hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

24/08/2026: The atmosphere was really friendly and the welcome was excellent. The menu is very comprehensive with a wide and tempting selection, but when you think of Italian, you think of pizza, and what can I say about the Oriental pizza with extra onion and parmesan? It's by far the best I've ever had. The ingredients are high quality and the taste is truly exceptional. I also tried the entrecôte maître d'hôtel, and frankly, it was a real treat.
24/08/2026: Absolutely wonderful! Excellent ingredients and a superb chef.
I thoroughly enjoyed the ribeye steak with maître d'hôtel sauce, served with pasta and pickled vegetables.
I highly recommend it; you can go without hesitation.

The dishes are delicious, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is very pleasant and inviting.
Special mention goes to the magnificent light fixture on the ceiling around the counter, which adds a lovely touch to the decor.
A truly wonderful experience; I highly recommend it!

They don't know their cuts of meat and charge you the price of a ribeye steak for a sirloin tip, with a huge piece of sinew...
The terrace is filled with smoke from other customers... In short, a shame.

1. At least getting something vegetarian to eat

Else, the food lacks soul except the naan which carried all the weight.
Mango Lassi was made like they washed the jar to get last drop of yoghurt..
Vegetarian Biriyani was almost uncooked rice mixed with the mixed veg we had ordered.
Peas pulao was frozen peas mixed with some wishy washy tomato gravy sand uncooked rice.
I could eat because I was very hungry.
So, thanks for that but this is not Indian coming by any means.

16/08/2026: Great place, the owner is lovely, the food is made with fresh ingredients, the meat melts in your mouth. Hats off to the owner who excels both in the dining room and in the kitchen every time!

01/08/2026: An excellent chip shop! The fries are incredibly good, perfectly crispy, and always served piping hot. The hygiene is impeccable; you can see that everything is clean and well-maintained. The waitresses are always smiling, welcoming, and respectful. As for the owner, she's truly wonderful: kind, professional, and attentive to her customers. It's a real pleasure to eat here. I recommend it 100%!
01/08/2026: Once is enough... and for good reason:
- Multiple omissions from our takeout orders, including the fries and a sauce from the menu.
- A mistake? We ordered toast and received a burger bun? It didn't match the bun shown on the various signs around the place.
- Fresh fries? I seriously doubt it! Maybe they're frozen and therefore cold 🙄?
- The staff's friendliness... you immediately get the impression you're talking to anything but a human being (this only applies to one person)... every request receives a very brief response (yes, no, a short sentence if the answer can't be yes or no), and if you try to discuss something, you get a simple "oh yes, okay"...
- No answer from the establishment after we left, even though I live just down the street and there were still people there when we left, not yet served, in short, less than 10 minutes later.
- Last point, the price! Very high, unjustified compared to the quality!
In short, and based on my only experience, I absolutely do not recommend it!

23/08/2026: Quick and efficient service, pleasant terrace, but mediocre food (Caesar salad and warm goat cheese salad: they could have done better by keeping the same ingredients but paying more attention to the preparation, especially the seasoning). A shame.

And to start the meal off right, there was a hair in the fries and on the steak... And the wine was served at the end of the meal 🤣 Bon appétit 😡
13/09/2026: We were a couple on a busy Saturday evening without a reservation. The service was very friendly, and we received our food in a reasonable amount of time. If you know a few words of French and speak the rest in English, you'll be served very politely. I can't understand the negative reviews. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is pleasant. I can recommend this place without reservation.

20/09/2026: Beware when ordering takeout. The third time they've forgotten to include an item, and when you return, the manager will hide in the back of the kitchen. Not even an apology from the person who prepared the order. So, the return trip costs me more than the item itself, and you get home to a cold, impersonal delivery. No service whatsoever.
16/09/2026: In this McDonald's, you have to drink your coffee black; you can't order extra milk. "Never," says the manager. "That's the rule!" If you ask for it, he says you're being dishonest! CUSTOMER-FRIENDLY???
