The mussels gratinated were really very good but small portion in my opinion. Normal prices for a restaurant terrace with a view of the port of Pornichet. Catering is a job, cooking good food is not enough. Do we still have to know how to serve them and not by young recruits who have no sense of service or politeness? You have to ask all the time for salt, water, bread and it's "yes yes or I'll be there" but you have to ask again. I was really disappointed by the service in mid-July 2024, not even a "goodbye, thank you" in response to our departure from the restaurant: the young waiters and waitresses were more busy receiving the dishes from the kitchen than serving. take care of their customers. We left without any polite words towards us. Catastrophic reception and service. Too bad it spoils a bit of a friendly holiday moment.

The opera of the sea is no longer the same restaurant as before…. The meal was okay… except the frozen fries were really not good! I find it a shame to eat frozen food in a restaurant! Something deeply shocked me, the filling of water carafes... taking the carafe from a table from an already served table to complete another carafe in order to re-serve it is really surprising!

The opera of the sea! Always welcoming, perfect cuisine, pleasant service, and an exceptional setting on the port... all this for very reasonable prices. A real local place of very good standard open all year round for a long time.
