A superb dining experience on the terrace in the pedestrian streets of the medieval village of Chateauneuf! The snails, the tomato and burrata salad, the galettes, the crêpes, the ice cream, and the Burgundy wine suggestion: everything was excellent! The ingredients were delicious and the seasonings perfectly balanced. We loved it! We recommend making a reservation!!

A wonderful experience at this charming restaurant. Good value for money and excellent food. For example, a crêpe flambée with Grand Marnière sauce, very generously topped.

Great place and delicious food, maybe the service was a little slow...but that's normal in the summer season....I would have liked to have dessert but since no one else was coming I left because I had a long drive ahead of me....

A truly wonderful discovery! L'Orée du Bois is a place where you feel at home from the moment you arrive! The welcome is warm, the staff are friendly, attentive, and professional! The setting is beautiful, calm, and welcoming—perfect for a truly enjoyable experience! The dishes are delicious, prepared with high-quality ingredients and presented with care. We had a fantastic time from beginning to end. I highly recommend L'Orée du Bois to anyone looking for an excellent restaurant. We will definitely be back!

10/05/2026: Everything was absolutely perfect. The family room is very spacious with a lovely bathroom. The meals at the restaurant are delicious, and the waiter is absolutely delightful. Breakfast is very varied, featuring high-quality local products.
