You can't find such delicious pumpkin pancakes anywhere else! Other recommendations: Sweet and Sour Pork, Shaomai, Mapo Tofu, etc.

Highly recommend authentic Hunan cuisine, especially Mao-style braised pork belly, which is incredibly tender and not greasy. Also highly recommended are hand-shredded garlic sprouts and Hunan-style shumai.

I didn't quite get the hype. It was highly recommended to me. I took some foodies there. We all thought it was alright. Nothing more. Also, there's garlic and pork in most of the dishes, so if you don't eat those things, it's a bit tricky.

It might not look like the fanciest Chinese restaurant in Paris, but that shouldn't restrain you from giving it a try. It's really been a while since I last ate something that good! They serve dishes from the Hunan province in China (which is very rare to see in restaurant), and they cook them to perfection. The prices are in the standard range, while the food in itself is exceptional. And people are not mistaken: the restaurant is often near its capacity; reservations are really useful.

A real treat. Chinese cuisine at its best. Simply not worth going to one of the hundreds of traiteurs if you can get this. Marginally more expensive but definitely worth the investment!

One of the best Chinese restaurants in the capital, and practically no one seems to know about it! It makes you want to leave reviews on Google because guides, websites, and blogs too often copy their competitors, overlooking the many enchanting gems scattered across the Parisian culinary scene. Here you'll find specialties from Hunan, but also from many other regions. Ask for recommendations for dishes (not necessarily spicy!) that are a little off the beaten path. Much more than just a neighborhood restaurant, IMHO.

The food is very good, perhaps a little noisy. The lady who clears the table can be a bit intrusive at the end of the meal.

Second attempt, slightly disappointed with the duck with five spices. The duck was too dry. I'll still come back, but I'll choose a different dish.

Absolutely flawless! We started with the shao mai ravioli with mushrooms and pine nuts—a caress, a perfectly delicate bite, with ideal texture and temperature! Next, we tried the Mao pork with its large cubes of braised pork belly coated in a caramelized sauce (we wanted more!!) and the perfectly prepared rice on the side. Finally, we had to try the crispy duck pancakes with the sauce (plum?), and we weren't disappointed! We'll definitely be back to try other little wonders! Friendly and smiling staff, and good value for money.

Trois Fois Plus de Piment

27/03/2026: First, I want to commend the kindness of the waiter, a lovely person who took the time to warn me about the Mapo noodles and their pepper. While it is technically pepper, I think it would be much more helpful to mention that the original recipe is very salty. Reducing the amount of pepper will make the dish less salty, but not less spicy. Those unfamiliar with this recipe won't understand that it's this particular pepper that makes the dish so salty, and I understand that neither the kitchen staff nor the customers want to understand the confusion when faced with a dish that isn't to their liking. The presentation and service were very pleasant.
26/03/2026: I'd already heard about this place, and it was indeed a very pleasant surprise! I had the Dan Dan noodles… 🤌 Delicious, quick, and the service was friendly and welcoming, with a cozy and warm atmosphere. I loved it.

Les Trois Royaumes

20/03/2026: A very classic Chinese restaurant serving Szechuan cuisine. Here, we enjoyed three dishes at a very reasonable price. Their takeaway lunch menus are also very good.
14/03/2026: Instantly back home! I found my darling Sichuan restaurant in Paris 🥹 After being in Paris for so long, I finally got to eat truly authentic Sichuan food! Zhuge Jianghu really understands my Chinese palate perfectly. I ordered their signature dish, "Jianghu Taro Chicken." The chicken was stewed until tender and flavorful, the taro was soft and chewy, and the spicy and numbing flavor was just right. It's not that kind of French-style Chinese food that's been modified; it's the original taste of home! Eating it made me a little homesick, but I also felt so happy to be able to eat this in Paris. My friend ordered "Stir-fried Pork Intestines," and even I, who don't usually eat pork intestines, ate a lot. They were very clean, with absolutely no unpleasant smell, just a fragrant, slightly charred, and oily aroma. The restaurant is located in the 10th arrondissement. They're closed on Tuesdays, so don't make a wasted trip! I'll definitely be back!
