Excellent restaurant! The food is delicious. I recommend the pork mao, the eggplant, and the siu mai dumplings with pine nuts. The atmosphere and decor are very pleasant. The tableware and the place in general are very clean. The staff is welcoming and efficient; we were served quickly. We had a wonderful time.

You can't find such delicious pumpkin pancakes anywhere else! Other recommendations: Sweet and Sour Pork, Shaomai, Mapo Tofu, etc.

Highly recommend authentic Hunan cuisine, especially Mao-style braised pork belly, which is incredibly tender and not greasy. Also highly recommended are hand-shredded garlic sprouts and Hunan-style shumai.

I didn't quite get the hype. It was highly recommended to me. I took some foodies there. We all thought it was alright. Nothing more. Also, there's garlic and pork in most of the dishes, so if you don't eat those things, it's a bit tricky.

28/06/2026: Great service, the guide through the menu was appreciated, the spice rating one was enough for us, but we left feeling the high of a solid chilli hit. The staff are super kind, attentive and full of tips (listen to them!) a small spot, great for a few friends or a couple that fancy a change from the creamy cuisines in Paris

Aigle d'Orient

24/06/2026: The paper-wrapped fish was so delicious! Better than many grilled fish dishes in China! And it had air conditioning! The owner even gave us fans because it was hot!
07/06/2026: We love coming to L'Aigle d'Orient! Everything is delicious and the staff is always friendly! It feels like we're in Sichuan, but in the 9th arrondissement of Paris :-).
