A sandwich shop like you find pretty much everywhere. The food is good, with a wide selection of sandwiches and platters. However, at 9 euros for a kebab without fries, it's starting to get expensive, too expensive for what it is.

La Taverne Saint Leger

24/07/2026: We had lunch there when the Tour de France passed through Chambéry. Located right in the city center on a pedestrian street. Friendly staff. Classic cuisine.
16/07/2026: Thank you for being so passionate! We just settled in to relax for a bit and left with a smile! The lady who served us was incredibly energetic; she's exactly what anyone needs to have a great day. The beers are very good, the setting is perfect for a city center, and the prices are really reasonable. We look forward to coming back more often!
