First time at the château 🏰 I won two meals for two in a raffle: starter, main course, dessert, and drinks. Honestly, I highly recommend it; I'll definitely be back to eat there. The service was top-notch, and the waiters were very professional.

A little slice of paradise near Sonnaz...!!! Dining on the terrace in a magnificent garden. Highly recommended.

Restaurant experience for a family birthday...the setting is very pleasant, the service is very friendly and professional...however, the dishes offered, although good, are absolutely not up to the standard of the location: poor presentation and seasoning. It's a real shame.

A very pretty, stylish, and romantic hotel in a 14th-century castle, situated in a quiet area surrounded by a park and vineyard. The room was clean and spacious, although it could be a little renovate. There's a restaurant on the castle grounds. In the outdoor pool, although despite the warm weather, the water was a bit chilly.

Exceptional setting: Candie Castle is a magnificent place, well-lit and ideally situated in a wooded setting that adds a touch of mystery, especially in the evening. Access is easy thanks to a free and spacious parking lot, although arriving at night can be surprising due to its natural ambiance. La Cantine Restaurant – A real gem: Warm welcome: The team is friendly, professional, and very attentive. The head waiter in his suit and the overall atmosphere create an impression of understated prestige. Unique ambiance: Wooden decor, soft lighting, and perfect air conditioning make for a cozy dinner. But the real highlight? The cats! Discreet, affectionate, and free to roam, they made our evening even more special. Well done for this initiative, which demonstrates a commitment to animals. Quality cuisine: We ordered appetizers and main courses for four people, served in 1 hour and 15 minutes with drinks, for approximately €150. Excellent value for money for delicious and beautifully presented dishes. Highly recommended: Whether for a family dinner, a romantic dinner, or a get-together with friends, the Château de Candie and its restaurant, La Cantine, offer an exceptional experience. We will return in different seasons to enjoy the hotel and explore this enchanting place further. Thank you for this unforgettable moment!

This place deserves to be maintained and renovated to its full potential, but the whole thing is neglected. The grounds are unkempt, with dead plants and neglected garden walls. The rooms lack amenities: no towel rack or hooks for hanging towels, and no ventilation despite the bathtub being in the room. There was a very strong musty smell in the room upon our arrival. The coffee machine in the room was not working. The decor doesn't evoke a castle atmosphere but rather a mishmash of different styles. Fortunately, the staff was very pleasant and attentive to the guests' well-being. By 10:00 AM, the breakfast area was already almost empty, more like a two-star establishment. The music in the breakfast room was played from a tablet with very poor sound quality, which the waiter eventually turned off because it was so inappropriate. All these details make it impossible to maintain four-star status.
