Cheerful relaxed spot for an uncomplicated taste of local cuisine. Decor reminded us of an Irish pub with a theatrical twist, complete with open wood fire. Very much enjoyed listening to the guitarist who sang Gypsy Kings type music while we ate.

A little long wait, however the food was very good especially the cassoulet and the entrecôte which was cooking next to us. Very medieval atmosphere and a musician present at lunchtime.

The restaurant is beautiful, good atmosphere with someone playing the guitar. If I saw correctly, the sausages are cooked directly in the fireplace in front of everyone. I chose the traditional cassoulet. The sausages were very good, however I didn't really like the flageolets.

L'Ostal is one of the oldest restaurants in the city in an old authentic building, over time a Roman tavern and inn on the Way of Compostela. Admire the facade, the porch, the massive beams, the fireplace and all the interior decoration. We enjoyed our cassoulet in a warm atmosphere, the song of the troubadour accompanied our lunch.

Share a meal in a medieval building with grills by the fireplace! This is neither the first time nor the last time that we will come to dine in this restaurant!

cadre du restaurant totalement en harmonie avec la cité, on se croirait au moyen âge. prix et qualité des plats très correct, accueil sympathique, service assez rapide, chanteur le soir et surtout cuisine au feu de bois pour la viande(sur la cheminée de la salle). Attention, plus de service après 21H/21H30 , comme pratiquement tous les restos de la cité.

Dare to advance to the back of the courtyard! You will eat a good cassoulet in a restaurant where the weather is nice heated by a fireplace with a guitarist playing background music. The staff is also friendly

02/01/2025: Good food (magret, pulled duck burger and children's menu). We didn't really like eating near the bar, the door was often open (cold) and very noisy with the acquaintances who stayed at the bar behind us to chat with the staff. Too bad because the room behind seemed nicer.

Chateau St. Martin Restaurant

30/08/2024: Very nice experience. The owner, master cheesemaker, gastronome and oenologist, introduced us to authentic and gourmet cuisine at a very affordable price. We feel a real infectious passion for this profession. I really like Corsican wines ;-)
25/08/2024: We were in a studio, not in the Château but it was still divine The super complete and clean studio and the Breakfast served by Clement, very delicious!
