We discovered this little restaurant yesterday and were charmed by the ambiance and the traditional decor. The welcome was very pleasant, and the staff were smiling and friendly. As for the food, the wood-fired grilled meat next to us was cooked to perfection, and the cassoulet was excellent—a real treat to discover in this restaurant. We'll definitely be back!

A place with medieval decor, featuring a fireplace, tapestries, and a friendly Scottish waitress. The menu is simple but effective. The wood-fired duck breast is delicious, with several side dish options including vegetables or starches. The warm apple tart is good, but I'm not sure it's homemade, and microwaving it isn't as pleasant as a traditional oven. The main course and dessert cost €25. Prices are typical for the area... a set menu is offered at this price with a starter, main course, and dessert, but the duck breast isn't included.

I had a very, very good meal here today. The service was very friendly. The three-course meal was excellent, with large portions, beautifully presented, and delicious. There was a short wait. It was all worth the money!
The weather outside was very bad, but it was very cozy inside the restaurant.

A restaurant housed in a 13th-century building. The decor is pleasant, if a bit cluttered, but charming, giving the establishment a certain character. It's tucked away behind a small courtyard at the end of a passageway. We visited in winter, which makes up for the small courtyard being partially cluttered with things only useful in warmer weather, creating a slightly messy atmosphere. The waitress was pleasant, and the menus were appealing, though perhaps a little... sticky.
We ordered cassoulets. They were very good. We hope they're homemade, but this isn't specified. There was a very pleasant musician playing.
Recommended, in our opinion.

As one of the few restaurants open on an evening during the winter season, we chose the visually very cozy L'Ostal. The selection of dishes, including items from the charcoal grill, also appealed to us. We ordered a duck leg and two chicken thighs from the grill. While the duck was excellent, the unseasoned chicken (according to the waitress, normal in French cuisine) was practically tasteless. Unfortunately, the side dishes also seemed rather uninspired, especially the beans and the leaf of lamb's lettuce. The bread and drinks were great!
