The restaurant, is inside the castle, had a very medieval atmosphere, and the service was good! However, I found the roasted chicken legs I ordered to have a burnt skin and the meat inside to be too dry. Although it was cheap, it was very ordinary! The onion soup didn't have the onion flavor . The local specialty dishes, cassoulet ,on the other hand, were very generous in portion size!

The medieval decor charmed us. The welcome was very warm. The cuisine was exquisite, right down to the dessert: the chocolate mousse. The cassoulet was exceptional: rich in meat, cooked to perfection. A discovery worthy of the city of Carcassonne, with homemade products. A must-try restaurant. Thank you.

Excellent food cooked over a wood fire 🪵 🔥 Especially the duck casserole 🦆 and the duck breast. Another highlight is the live music 🎶, with guitar 🎸. It's very important to note that the tables outside are not part of the restaurant; you have to go through the door. The place has a certain medieval charm 🏰

We discovered this little restaurant yesterday and were charmed by the ambiance and the traditional decor. The welcome was very pleasant, and the staff were smiling and friendly. As for the food, the wood-fired grilled meat next to us was cooked to perfection, and the cassoulet was excellent—a real treat to discover in this restaurant. We'll definitely be back!
