Absolutely perfect! We discovered Le Saint-Louis and its incredible manager during a summer holiday in Périgueux, and we've been back several times (and counting)!!! Magical setting, warm welcome, and delicious food! I had a Périgord salad and I have no regrets. A thoughtful manager who truly deserves to work. In any case, we never get tired of it 😍🤩 I thank the whole team and highly recommend it+++

A very warm welcome from the entire team. We chose typical Périgord dishes, foie gras and duck breast. We thoroughly enjoyed them! Moreover, the location is very pleasant, quiet, and shaded. A truly wonderful place.

An institution I wanted to try. A successful test! Excellent. Located on a charming little square, the decor is old-fashioned but very welcoming. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The menus and dishes are varied and the ingredients are high quality. A great experience.

WELCOME: Friendly and welcoming. TERRACE: Very pleasant, fully shaded, and not crowded at all. CUISINE: Excellent food, and above all, it's homemade, which is evident first visually and then in the taste. The portions are generous. SERVICE: Quick, friendly, and always with a smile. PRICE: €29 for the set menu (starter, main course, dessert). Considering the menu and portion sizes, it's quite reasonable. In short, don't hesitate to stop by; you'll leave satisfied.

The restaurant's terrace is very pleasant, situated on a pretty, quiet yet lively square. We had a very welcoming waiter, and all the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. However, we found the food to be a little below the standard of the service. It wasn't bad, far from it, but simply rather average compared to everything else we've tasted in the area. This 3-star rating (meaning "good") reflects our experience: an overall enjoyable time thanks to very pleasant service, but the food was somewhat less impressive.

19/05/2026: Wow what a find. Being early diners in France is not an easy thing but we wandered into this beautiful little restaurant. We honed in on the 3 course menu for 29€ and made our choices. Service was exemplary and we thoroughly enjoyed each dish. I had a petit salad with chicken intestines which I have to say was one of the most delicious dishes I've tasted for awhile. The fillet of fish with a beautiful vegetable sauce was also just as delicious. I finished off with the traditional dessert and was completely satisfied by the end. I would highly recommend this restaurant for its food, service and atmosphere.
