The seafood gratin was excellent, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The pizzas are good too. The service is friendly. And the price is very reasonable.

A superb discovery! The food is excellent, the owner is lovely, and we were delighted to discover this restaurant. The owner has only been there since June, but we plan to go often because the food was high quality and the prices very reasonable. A truly wonderful find! The bull stew is absolutely divine.

One of the few places that offers something other than steak/nuggets/fish sticks and fries on the kids' menu, we had fresh fish fillet. The very negative reviews must be outdated because we had a great time.

Chez Mario

30/03/2026: I visited Chez Mario in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. The place is small and simple, barely noticeable from the outside, but it has a familiar and authentic atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pizzas are definitely the highlight: well-cooked, with a crispy, flavorful crust. The cuisine is also traditional Italian. I also really enjoyed the tiramisu, which was truly excellent. The prices are fair and the quality-price ratio is good, especially considering the location near the center and the sea. One note: since it's very popular, it's best to arrive early because the place is a bit small. Overall, I recommend it, especially for the truly excellent pizza.
20/03/2026: Delicious Italian pizza, beautiful location, and welcoming staff! A slice of Italy in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. I'll definitely be back.
