Strolled through the village with hunger and saw the dining area from below with the beautiful deck. “We have to look at that.” There were two tables still free. We were able to choose 3 variants of a 3-course menu. A dream. We went again the same week with a couple of colleagues. So we were able to try out all the variations. All the food was very good. Very attentive and nice service. We'll definitely come back.

I was able to dine at the Lou Portaou restaurant during my stay in Bormes-les-Mimosas, and it was a superb evening. The warm and attentive welcome from the staff immediately put me at ease. The menu offers dishes with authentic flavors, prepared with quality local products.
I particularly enjoyed the chocolate mousse, which was a real delight, the dishes are obviously not left out! The atmosphere is cozy and friendly, ideal for having a good time with family or friends.
If you are passing through the region, I highly recommend taking a detour to Lou Portaou, you will not be disappointed!

Very characteristic and fascinating place practically located in a passage partially covered by ancient beams and on a terrace between the houses of the medieval part of the town. Traditional Provençal cuisine revisited a little but with a lot of attention. Excellent quality and reasonable prices. More than attentive and courteous service but slightly long waiting times. Cellar not very substantial but of good quality.

I had the pleasure of dining at Lou Portaou during a weekend in Bormes-les-Mimosas, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. Excellent restaurant in the stone vaults of Bormes les Mimosas.
Service, cuisine, atmosphere... everything was perfect.
Single menu of €52 per person excluding aperitif and wine, but justified by the flavor of the dishes.

As always, perfect welcome, setting and cuisine! The team takes great care of local and original cuisine. The products are chosen with care and the wine list matches the quality of the (seasonal) dishes. The picturesqueness of the place adds to its charm without forgetting the more than friendly welcome. THANKS !!! The success of the restaurant says it all: it's better to book.

We were lucky enough to get a table by booking late and…what an experience!!! Delicious cuisine: I recommend the candied meat as a main course and not having managed to choose the desserts, we had all 3 😋
Attentive and discreet servers; all in a magnificent setting under the arch.

Nel centro di bormes les mimosas sotto una volta del centro storico spicca questo ristorante, abbiamo mangiato antipasti e primi con una bottiglia di rose del posto, cibo di qulita e particolare, presentato in modo impeccabile, camerieri gentili e sorridenti..prezzo leggermente sopra la media ma ne vale la pena consiglio!!
