What a fabulous place! In all our travels around the world, never have we received a welcome like the welcome we had at L’ Oustal del Barry. Warm, welcoming and very personal, what a great place to stay. From start to finish, the quality of service, food, ambience and the sheer feeling of ‘being looked after’, was impeccable. Definitely somewhere to visit again and although Najac is a really interesting place to visit, it’s worth going there for the hotel alone! Congratulations on creating such a memorable place to stay!

My rating is a combination of our stay in the hotel which I’d rate 5 stars and dinner in their restaurant at 3 stars.
We had a lovely room with balcony overlooking the valley. Our hostess was so welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Ideas for walks; drinks on the terrace. The room itself is comfortable with a good bed.
Our dinner was disappointing. My beef was just OK. Some of it was so sinewy I couldn’t cut or chew it. My wife’s local special of the rolled pork was awful. She said it tasted like cardboard it was so dry. The service was excellent and the outlook of the restaurant is lovely. Perhaps we just got unlucky 🧐

Excellent hotel with a spectacular restaurant. The food was exquisite and the service incredible.
Our waitress served us with great kindness and professionalism. I would definitely return to the restaurant on my next visit to Najac.

Highly recommended!!!!
Even if you are not staying at the Oustal, the restaurant is a must to go if you are visiting Najac.

Lunch break this Thursday, May 8th. The setting and service were excellent. We had an aperitif, a main course, and a gourmet coffee. The complimentary amuse-bouche with the aperitif was superb, the Najac-style main course was excellent and served with rolls, and the gourmet coffee was delicious. In short, a wonderful discovery, made even better by the sunshine. We didn't try the wines as we were on our motorcycles. A place to remember.

Fantastic experience at this restaurant! The service was quick and very efficient, which was truly appreciated. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and attentive from beginning to end. As for the meal, it was excellent, with delicious and well-prepared dishes. I highly recommend it and will gladly return!
