A hidden gem in the small streets of the neighborhood. Absolutely excellent Ivorian-Reunionese restaurant and a super friendly owner!

I have been there several times. The atmosphere of the restaurant is rather cozy, and in terms of decor and cleanliness, from what we can see, nothing to say. The owner of the restaurant is friendly and welcoming, attentive to customers. But in his absence, at least for the time that I can testify, the difference in service is felt (A cook was also in charge of the service and we could see that he was more at ease in the kitchen than in the dining room 😅 Service being a profession in its own right, I don't hold it too harsh 🙂) Speaking of the appearance of the dishes, rather generous quantities, fresh products, fish in particular, and appetizing presentation. Good point! When it comes to seasonings, cooks tend to be heavy-handed with flavor enhancers (Maggi Flavor it seemed to me) added just before serving. The smell and true taste of the dishes are completely hidden. This greatly affects the quality/price ratio. It's a shame, because we could do without it, given that the original processing of the food (fish/chicken marinade) seems to be qualitative and already quite salty. I would suggest focusing more on the marinade and leaving it up to the customer to add salt/pepper as they wish. Ah! another small point, relating to the allowance. More customers than we think prefer alloco made from ripe bananas (neither too ripe as we often see, nor not enough). Think about it...🙂 A little tip for future customers, do not hesitate to specify if possible when booking what you plan to order, to guarantee product availability as much as possible 😉 I will come back to see if opinions are taken into account :)

Very friendly and well executed Creole cuisine.

A must-see neighborhood restaurant. This address, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, deserves to be better known. The dishes are authentic and generous. The manager of the establishment welcomes you as she should. An address to do and redo.

I’ve been here twice and both times for a birthday treat, so can’t comment specifically on the price. For the rest, let’s start on the positive. The appetizers were excellent, just the right amount of spice. The main, a fish dish, was also very good, with lots of bold flavors. The dessert, chocolate cake with cocoanut ice cream, also very good. And the drinks? So excellent we each ordered two. The up side with the service was they were very kind, happy to explain everything, and very patient when I made a mistake with my order and so had to change it. As for the atmosphere, very comfortable, though not too fancy, so if that’s what you’re looking for, this place may not work for you. Now for the not-so-great stuff. With the food, you should be warned that with the fish dishes at least, they bring you the whole fish, head, skin, and bones included. And while I could certainly scrape around the bigger bones and avoid the head, I was picking smaller ones out of my teeth the whole evening. The dessert was fine, but nothing special as in you could get something similar just about anywhere. No specific spice or other intriguing touch. Finally, I felt like the service was pretty slow. I had to ask for a menu more than once to get the additional drinks and dessert. One final high note, though, as we were paying, the ladies offered us complimentary rum shots which were delicious! If you’re looking for a solid date-night of tasty African cuisine, this is a great option.

This is my first Google review, but it’s the best braised chicken in Paris, that’s nothing else to say!

Incredible cuisine and a warm welcome that you won't find anywhere else! One of the best addresses in Paris

To use the famous expression: “I cried over that chicken.” I had the braised chicken, what grace, what sweetness. Furthermore, the lady at reception was very nice. Great discovery, I highly recommend!
