Lume is a unique place, timeless, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city and everyday life… We were regulars when we lived in Bordeaux, and we love coming back to eat there whenever we spend the weekend! It's a restaurant where the cuisine and service are perfectly in sync, creating a seamless experience that borders on perfection! We always eat there wonderfully; the portions are just right, balanced, and the dishes tell a real story. It's refined and intelligent cuisine. The service is gentle and warm. Everything is there for an extraordinary evening. Since we both work in the restaurant industry and love Michelin-starred restaurants, Lume remains undeniably one of our favorites! The wine list is precise, extensive, and reflects the soul of this restaurant and its owners. We let Alice guide us and are never disappointed! His food and wine pairings are also perfectly balanced! As for the tasting menu, it's definitely worth the trip! It reflects a genuine love for quality ingredients, for quality dishes, and for doing things well… and pays tribute to the Italian and regional producers he works with. If you think you like Italian cuisine, Riccardo's cooking will make you appreciate it even more! It's a true discovery of his native region. From the amuse-bouches to the dessert, including the savory courses, everything is delicious and authentic. We will definitely be back!

This restaurant is a truly unique experience. Alice guides you as she presents the dishes with passion, and each plate is a delightful surprise, as beautiful as it is delicious. My partner and I never look at the menu before booking; we know we're guaranteed to be delighted. The welcome and service were very pleasant. The dishes, from the first to the last, were excellent. We ordered white wine by the glass, which was very good, with explanations of its origin. In short, a very good restaurant and a very good evening.

Wow! A real gem! And apparently, it's been going strong for 10 years! The cuisine is exquisitely refined… Everything is just right, nothing is left to chance. There's a great deal of originality in each dish, something that's somewhat forgotten today when chefs prioritize the quality of the ingredients over culinary creativity. Each condiment adds its own touch, and the cooking is perfect. From the very first amuse-bouche, you're blown away by the delicately fried chanterelles. The scallop crudo that follows is simply incredible, with dried coral powder and bay leaf-infused oil. I could describe the entire menu in the same way. I'll just finish with the dessert: "Apple, miso caramel, Tuscan cantuccio, Vin Santo cloud, Périgord black truffle" = incredible! Many chefs try to pair black truffles with dessert. It's rarely successful! Here, we're talking about perfection. I even forgot to mention that the service provided by the owner was extremely attentive, in a very intimate setting. #MichelinGuide We absolutely must go back!! There's a star in the air!

A truly wonderful experience in this small, welcoming restaurant with only 12 seats. If it weren't for the inventive and exceptionally high-quality cuisine, you'd feel right at home. The owner offers a superb selection of Italian wines, along with helpful recommendations to complement her husband's cooking. Certainly the best dining experience of the year, even compared to a Michelin-starred Italian restaurant in Bordeaux.
