A friend of mine said if I could get a reservation here while in bordeaux, I should, because it's sublime.
He wasn't wrong.
From start to finish, we thoroughly enjoyed the ride. Each dish's ingredients were explained to us, where they came from, why they were in the dish, and how it was prepared. Every dish was a star. The wine pairings were perfect.
So now I'm passing it along. If you get the chance to go, you should. It's sublime.

Very nice food and a relaxed atmosphere. It’s run by a couple that give very attentive service. As it’s just the two of them sometimes they are busy with other tables and you have to wait a little but that is ok. Extensive wine list focusing mostly on Italian wine but with French and more adventurous wines from as far as Georgia. Very nice food but be prepared for a very fish focused menu and some very cleaver dishes

A calming setting, and careful decoration.
Magnificent tableware, and this is worth highlighting because it enhances the dishes and the experience.
Attentive, discreet service.
Exquisite dishes with unusual flavors and excellently crafted products. And a food and wine pairing (Italian of course) that is as surprising as it is excellent.

Incredible!! One of the best meals I have ever had. First time I have ever left a review. The meal was so good I felt compelled to leave one. Only 6 tables so make a reservation on their site.

Lume was one of the best things we did while in Bordeaux! The food and service were incredible. The husband and wife team are so kind and knowledgeable. The chef prepared dishes that told a story, and they were beautifully presented and explained every time. The wine pairing was also fantastic. If you find yourself traveling to Bordeaux, make reservations here. You won't be disappointed!

You must reserve here since it is such a small restaurant. The menu is set and is fish based with an Italian chef doing some magic. After an excellent G&T we asked the server for a wine recommendation since we don't know much about Italian wines and she made a very good choice for us. The meal consisted of lots of small dishes each of which was perfectly presented and tasted divine. Service was excellent and the meal was superb. Not cheap at 440€ for 4 people but well worth it for a special occasion.

Un menu printanier autour du poisson en 6 services que nous avons trouvé parfait de notre première à notre dernière bouchée.
Restaurant tenu par un couple dont Madame est de très bien conseil pour le vin et Monsieur prépare des plats succulents aux influences vénitiennes.
Le pain fait maison, une huile familiale -locale,
de l'onctuosité, de la douceur, de la surprise, de la découverte, de la finesse, tout était réuni.
Un grand merci pour cette belle soirée.
