Excellent restaurant, I recommend it to everyone. The staff are very warm and friendly, the atmosphere is great, and the food is very good. So if you're going to Boulogne, go there!

Today, a quick lunch for two. The main courses and desserts, and the mussels and fries were perfect. The only slight drawback was the fries (frozen, of course) – they were a bit overcooked and therefore dry, which was a shame. The service and welcome were excellent – quick, efficient, and friendly! So, I recommend this establishment.

We are vacationing with our two grandchildren. Cafe l’Univers was perfect. The food was great; we had salmon, paella and moules et frites. Our waitress was very kind and the service efficient.

Friendly staff, the waiter was tireless – hats off to him for all those trips up and down the stairs!
Kudos also to the chef for the chicken with Maroilles cheese, which our daughter is still talking about. Just a couple of minor issues: bones in the salmon and flat Coke.
A dog-friendly brasserie, thank you!

Honestly, I'm very satisfied with this restaurant. The welcome was great, the waiters were friendly (with a smile 👍). We ordered mussels and fries marinière with a salmon and shrimp salad... the salad was very good, the fries were well cooked, good... there were 3 or 4 mussels that were too crunchy, but apart from that, nothing to complain about. And regarding the "non-carbonated" Coke mentioned in the reviews, I think the reviews in question are a bit exaggerated. Frankly, if I had to recommend a restaurant, it would definitely be this one.

A great little brasserie after visiting Nausicaa. The owner greeted us and gave us advice while we were reading the menu (we were a party of six). The three-course meal (starter, main, and dessert) was the same price as mussels marinière in Ostend. The service was excellent, and the food was high quality. For after-dinner drink enthusiasts, the owner's recommendation is a must-try: the 10-year-old Calvados XO.
