Very convenient in the centre of Castellane for going out during the day and doing outdoor activities and enjoying the village in the evening.

Passing through for a short weekend, we received a warm and very kind welcome. The room was simple, clean, and functional. Our room overlooking the garden was quiet and peaceful. I would like to thank the very attentive and helpful receptionist. Thank you for your professionalism.

A wonderful little hotel right in the heart of Castellane. We slept incredibly well, and the staff were very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, we didn't stay long enough, but we would gladly return. An experience to be repeated and for others to discover – I highly recommend it.

The hotel is located on Castellane's main square, with private parking. The rooms are clean and have very comfortable mattresses. The staff, both at reception and in the dining room, were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast (we chose the buffet) was excellent and varied. Thank you!

A super cute hotel with lots of charm! The renovated bathroom and beautifully furnished room are lovely. The garden behind the hotel is fantastic. Very central location. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is delicious; eggs (boiled or scrambled) would have been a nice addition. Parking is available behind the hotel, either in the courtyard or on the street (the latter is better for larger cars, as the courtyard can get quite narrow when several cars are parked there). We highly recommend this hotel!

Dated, spacious room, good beds, stunning location, and fantastic service. The WiFi is very poor and causes a lot of irritation. The bathroom was clean but could use a renovation. The breakfast is great.

The restaurant in the Auberge, which used to always meet high standards, is permanently closed (June 2026). This is a great shame, especially since apparently no one is taking care of the information on Google Maps. Regrettable!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolute Hidden Gem in Castellane! What an incredible find! We stopped here for coffee drinks and ice cream, and it was hands-down one of the best experiences of our trip. The ice cream is out of this world—absolutely delicious and sourced from local artisanal makers right here in the area. You can truly taste the quality and care in every single scoop; it was drop-dead delicious! Aside from the treats, the setting is a total dream. They have a beautiful terrace out in the garden that feels like a secret oasis. It is so quiet, cool, and fresh, offering the perfect peaceful escape away from all the busy streets and tourist bustle. **Shoutout to Alexis! 🙌** The service here is next-level, all thanks to our waiter, Alexis. He absolutely elevated our entire experience. You can see right away that he wears his heart on his sleeve—he was all smiles and radiated genuine kindness. Despite us being a big group, he showed incredible patience, kept everything running seamlessly, and offered excellent recommendations. Exceptional hospitality like his is hard to find! If you are in Castellane, do yourself a favor and do not skip this beautiful spot. Incredible local flavors, a stunning atmosphere, and wonderful people. We will definitely be back!

We stayed two nights, a week apart, during our road trip. The welcome was always warm and friendly, and the staff were clearly attentive to customer satisfaction. The hotel is cozy and conveniently located between the main square in front and the Verdon River behind, with its shaded parking area. The breakfasts were excellent.
