Ma Petite Auberge sur Castellane

A nice, typically French, 2-star hotel on the market square in Castellane. slightly rocky but with charm. My room would probably be a bit small for 2, but for me it was just enough with all the motorbike stuff (the sliding bathroom door only opens fully if you move the desk a little away from the wall). Some things are already rustic (towel holder in the bathroom just leaning against the wall, toilet paper holder made of square steel creaked together), but the windows and bathroom tiles were relatively new. There's nothing to complain about when it comes to the cleanliness of the rooms. The staff are almost exclusively young people and, with one exception, very friendly. Beautiful outdoor area behind the building, including parking spaces for cars, motorcycles and trailers. You can also park easily on the street behind the hotel and there is also a free public parking lot 200 m away. The Verdon flows directly next to the road. Beautiful view of the landmark of Castellane, the rock with a chapel. The breakfast buffet is for 2 stars and French. Conditions can be rated as very good. The hotel's own restaurant is definitely very good and recommended. Unfortunately, not everything was available during my stay at the end of the season. There are also plenty of other locations of various quality levels in town. But even here, not everything is open at the end of the season. All in all, Castellane and the petite Auberge were a very good location for the tours for our motorcycle week, whether to the sea, towards the Alps or the Verdon Gorge. There are enough destinations and routes.

Very nice little hotel, comfortable room, welcoming and attentive staff. Well stocked breakfast buffet in a very friendly setting. I recommend 👍👍👍

Ein in das Alter gekommenes Hotel in Castellane aber sehr sauber und Hilfsbereites Personal. Küche sehr Gut und Ala Carte. Das Einzelzimmer eher klein und auf der Stassen seite. Dafür mitten im Zentrum umgeben von Geschäften_Bars_Restaurands alles da was du Wünscht. Zum Parkieren ist ein Hof hinter dem Hotel direkt zum Restaurand und Nachts abgeschlossen.

Autentiek hotel in centrum! Alles dik in orde. Zeer gedienstig personeel!

Pour être resté une nuit avec une amie je dois dire que tout était impeccable, au matin petit déjeuner buffet à volonté, trop bien. Emplacement sécurisé et fermé pour les motos , trop bien aussi👍😊
