I discovered this restaurant about two or three years ago, and since then we've been about fifteen times (yes, really!). Whenever we have family or friends visiting, we take them to Bistrot des Chefs because it's THE best value-for-money restaurant in all of Paris. You can go there without hesitation. Out of fifteen visits, I was only disappointed once, by the salmon dish which had just been added to the menu (but it was improved afterward, from what we saw). I absolutely loved the cappuccino purée (please bring it back 🙏) and the yogurt 🔥

We had a very good meal on the restaurant's terrace. We were able to try dishes from the à la carte menu (not the set menu) thanks to a 50% discount when booking through The Fork. You can also book to guarantee a table and get 2000 bonus Yums (equivalent to €50) with this code: B701907B (enter it at the end of the booking process when you confirm). We shared two starters: eggs (€9.50 with the discount) and the signature sirloin steak served with new potatoes and green beans (€50 for two with the discount). I found the steak a bit pricey for what it was; it was quite a substantial portion, so we ended up taking a third of it to go. With the discount, it became a bit more reasonable. The other dishes on the menu are around €25, so about a dozen if you book in advance. The service was excellent! A good meal in a beautiful setting.

Excellent experience! We've been to Bistro des Chefs several times now. The terrace is very pleasant these days. We received excellent service from Jérôme; a big thank you for his kindness and helpfulness. We were delighted with our meal!

The food is excellent, the "honey" dessert is superb, and the three-course meal (starter, main, dessert) is €40. I don't recommend the wine pairing, which was completely uninteresting; the pairings were clearly not done by a sommelier. Treat yourself to a bottle you enjoy. Once you know that, you'll have a wonderful time in this bistro with its intimate and welcoming atmosphere.

Second experience at the Top Chef restaurant. The food is still as delicious and surprising as ever. However, the service and friendliness of the staff have changed: few smiles and we didn't feel very welcome. A shame compared to our experience two years ago. It's still a good place.

A truly wonderful experience from start to finish! The dishes were excellent, perfectly executed, with a wonderful pace between each course. The wine was also delicious and complemented the meal perfectly. A huge thank you as well for the thoughtful touch with the candle on our dessert to celebrate our 15th anniversary, as requested. This kind of detail really makes a difference and makes the moment even more memorable. Finally, a big thank you to the waitstaff: professional, friendly, and attentive throughout the meal. We had a fantastic time and will gladly return. I highly recommend it!
