Madeleine Café sur Dijon

An excellent spot in Dijon! I had lunch at Madeleine Café today and it was a wonderful discovery. A warm, elegant, and cozy setting, a pleasant atmosphere, and above all, a truly friendly and attentive welcome. As for the food, we were in heaven! The prawns with Mediterranean vegetables were absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. And the pan-seared beef tartare was simply excellent: flavorful, generous, and perfectly seasoned. A real treat! 😋 Everything came together for a wonderful experience: the quality of the dishes, the presentation, the service, and that convivial atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer. A place I wholeheartedly recommend if you're ever in Dijon.

All the dishes are homemade, and we waited patiently for our lunch table—it was well worth it! A delicious, unpretentious meal. We also appreciated the cool outdoor seating and, of course, the impeccable service. Ideally located for a stopover in the beautiful city of Dijon.

Lunch is served at any time. Unpretentious yet delicious, the terrace under the porch is a pleasant spot for a relaxing break amidst the charming atmosphere of Dijon's little streets. Thank you to the attentive and discreet staff.

Apple, lemon puree, ginger and carrot smoothie, excellent, mmmmmm, thank you!!!

Breakfast there was delicious and the service was friendly and the staff spoke good English.

Let the menu surprise you. The chef knows what he is doing!

Nice stop after a long drive. The cheesecake and pie were both delicious — well worth trying. The coffee was the letdown though: the “black coffee” wasn’t actually black, and the latte macchiato had way too much coffee powder in it. Great for a sweet treat, but I’d skip the coffee.

Excellent tea room; their chai latte made with plant-based milk is to die for. It's often packed, so be sure to arrive early or make a reservation.

I used Madeleine Café's catering service. Everything was delicious! All the guests loved the buffet. Every special request was respected. I highly recommend them.
