On the shaded terrace, quality beer, but the meal was so-so... I ordered a steak tartare that was supposed to be prepared with a knife, but it was incredibly bland and, in my opinion, had been prepared in a meat grinder or food processor. It came with very greasy fries, but the salad served with it was well-seasoned.

We went to the terrace with six friends, the meal was delicious, the terrace was great, and the two servers were fantastic! I highly recommend it! 🍻 They even gave us some great sightseeing tips for Besançon on Sunday 🌄

Terrible service! The waitress wasn't smiling and was surprised that I didn't accept two knives when she brought me the cutlery I asked for. You can't have a carafe of water at the table; you have to go get it from the bar located several meters from the terrace (but why??). It's a shame, because the place is otherwise nice!

Excellent restaurant, very good value for money! I was so surprised to pay less than 27 euros for a daily special, 2 desserts and 3 coffees.

This is THE terrace in the center of Besançon. It's so pleasant and peaceful under the trees. It's a shame the tables aren't cleaned often enough and get sticky.

09/04/2026: Nice atmosphere and pleasant vintage decor, perfect for a drink. Service varies depending on the staff, but overall a friendly place to spend some time.
13/12/2025: A truly exceptional pub! Small in size, certainly, but huge in atmosphere. The place is very warm, friendly, and above all, enlivened by excellent music that immediately sets the mood.
