Madigan's sur Besancon

🍽️ A great spot in Besançon! During our visit to Besançon, we stopped at Madigan’s for lunch, accompanied by our little dog, who was very welcome. We enjoyed the shaded terrace, which was particularly pleasant, with plenty of space between the tables for a comfortable meal. We chose the Comtois platter, which was very good and generous, as well as the Madigan’s salad, which was equally delicious. The cuisine perfectly showcases regional flavors. Special mention goes to the staff, who were helpful, professional, and attentive. We wholeheartedly recommend this place for lunch in Besançon, to enjoy a pleasant terrace and have a great time. 👍

Excellent place! The food is high quality, the prices are reasonable, and the value for money is truly outstanding. I highly recommend it.

On the shaded terrace, quality beer, but the meal was so-so... I ordered a steak tartare that was supposed to be prepared with a knife, but it was incredibly bland and, in my opinion, had been prepared in a meat grinder or food processor. It came with very greasy fries, but the salad served with it was well-seasoned.

Pleasantly surprised by the speed of service and the waitress's lovely smile (quite rare in Besançon, and worth mentioning). Thank you, Méline :)

We went to the terrace with six friends, the meal was delicious, the terrace was great, and the two servers were fantastic! I highly recommend it! 🍻 They even gave us some great sightseeing tips for Besançon on Sunday 🌄

Terrible service! The waitress wasn't smiling and was surprised that I didn't accept two knives when she brought me the cutlery I asked for. You can't have a carafe of water at the table; you have to go get it from the bar located several meters from the terrace (but why??). It's a shame, because the place is otherwise nice!

Excellent restaurant, very good value for money! I was so surprised to pay less than 27 euros for a daily special, 2 desserts and 3 coffees.
