Excellent restaurant, very good value for money! I was so surprised to pay less than 27 euros for a daily special, 2 desserts and 3 coffees.

This is THE terrace in the center of Besançon. It's so pleasant and peaceful under the trees. It's a shame the tables aren't cleaned often enough and get sticky.

Unfortunately, the Caesar salad, like all the fast food, was of poor quality. The toilet was a disaster. I think a hygiene service should come and clean it. The outdoor terrace is pleasant. It wouldn't take much to improve things, but as it is now, it remains a tourist trap for a one-time visit.

A quality "canteen" for lunch and a pleasant atmosphere in the evening. The terrace on Place du 8 Septembre is a big plus when the weather's nice. Extensive selection of hoppy drinks to enjoy while watching a biathlon race or a rugby match. In short, highly recommended, and it's kid-friendly too.

12/03/2026: I love spending my Thursday evenings at La Fontaine bar with a great DJ, an amazing atmosphere, and smiling, very friendly staff. I could go there forever! I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a fantastic evening with friends.
