Mai Do sur Paris

Best Pho soup in the world. I am a long-time regular, although I have searched all over the world, Vietnam included, I have never found better. Take the beef rolls as a starter then the beef pho soup, no missteps, it’s delicious and authentic. Absolutely worth testing PS: if you really want to diversify you have to take the beef skewers and the vegetable spring rolls ;)

I love Vietnamese cuisine and it’s definitely one of the best places in Paris. The setting is comfortable, pleasant atmosphere and traditional cuisine full of flavors with quality products. It was full even at 2 p.m. that day…

Everything is perfect at Mai Do!! A sublime kitchen in a beautiful and bright new room. Well done Van :)

A real (very) good neighborhood restaurant, with many regulars. The service is fast, the place is comfortable and the dishes very well cooked. Choice, and excellent value for money!

The food isn't authentic - there was hardly any flavor in the appetizer or the main dish I got. The dish I wanted to get wasn't available, even though it was on the menu - monkfish made with dill and served with rice, I had it in Hanoi and it was the best dish I had in Vietnam. They seemed surprised I would try to order it and offered me a chicken dish instead. The other fish dish I finally got and the soft shell crab were, as mentioned, really bland. I asked for cut chillies as they have on every table in Vietnam, or chilli oil, but got a sweet and spicy sauce which really didn't go with the two dishes. The people up front were not friendly, no smiles at all. The only smile I got was when someone from the kitchen brought me one dish. Unfortunately the more highly rated Vietnamese restaurants were closed on Sunday.

Warm atmosphere and delicious dishes. Culinary journey not to be missed!

Nothing to say for the restoration but the detestable boss, borderline incorrect.

Cuisine excellente, cadre paisible dans un nouveau décors très agréable. Il est prudent de réserver. Une clientèle d'habitués semble nettement majoritaire. A conseiller sans hésiter.

Hier midi, il faisait très froid dehors , de même chez Mai Do, nous étions réfrigérés, honteux de déjeuner ds ces conditions ! Le travers de porc et le riz étaient beaucoup trop secs sans sauce .
