Maison Bes sur Paris

Food and service were excellent. Enjoyed the beef tartare, pate, eggs and the chocolate lava cake. Waitress couldn’t have been more helpful.

A classical parisian bistro serving traditional french classics. Well made at agreeable prices. I have little to fault them, the concept is tried and tested, yet it feels this is one of a thousand like it in Paris. Good, but a bit boring. Service deducted for presenting duck breast as the substitute for running out of beef, but then serving confied duck leg - difference is, ahem, noticeable. Tasty though ;)

Warm welcome, Parisian bistro as we like them; a well-designed and fresh menu; perfectly presented and tasty dishes and desserts! I recommend and I will come back!

Typical Parisian. Great service! Came here as tourists based on a recommendation and felt at home. Very quiet on a Wednesday evening in January, but the food was delicious. Everything made with fresh, local ingredients and the dessert was amazing! (Strongly recommend the crème brûlée and the chocolate lava cake). Service was wonderful and friendly considering we were obvious tourists who spoke horrendous French!

I am a truffle fan this is my go to place

A simple menu with simple food, but my goodness was it delicious. My husband and I had a wonderful and memorable dinner at Maison Bès and would come back here again and again.

I recommend. Calm and pleasant atmosphere. Courteous service. I had the sea bass fillet with quinoa and it was very good.

Cuisine: traditional of impeccable quality (the mimosa-style beetroot starter was already a delight for the eyes, the tasty and blue entrecôte that I love, the chocolate cake a real killer: the Châteauneuf-du-Pape Troupel from a Excellent value) Service: family and very personal (not common in the 8th) Atmosphere: both cozy by the decoration and lively by the very impressive number of regulars (that says it all!).
