Nice pastry shop. You choose inside, pay, sit down at a table, and wait a while for your pastry and coffee. And every time, even on the hottest days, they serve you a glass of lukewarm water. It spoils the enjoyment.

A beautiful pastry shop and tea room, located right next to Villeurbanne's town hall. The pastries are very well arranged and displayed; you'd think you were in a jewelry store! There's also a huge selection of viennoiseries and breads, and you want to try everything. I personally tried the white chocolate brioche and the orange peel brioche—absolutely divine. We also had a drink on the terrace, which was very pleasant as well. It's located in the skyscraper district on a pedestrian street, barely 70 meters from the town hall. It's a shame they only offered one freshly squeezed orange juice, as they apparently hadn't received any oranges or even lemons. ... Well, we didn't ask them to go and pick them, but you should be able to buy that kind of thing...

The pastries are very good, and the place is quite nice. The waitresses are very pleasant and smiling, but their service system really needs improvement. Great for takeout, but not for eating in.

03/08/2026: I eat here once a year. The atmosphere, the food, and the service are something you won’t find anywhere else in Lyon. The place is run by an extremely charming family, and I look forward to returning next year :)

The daily specials change very regularly and are often original, which makes you want to come back to discover the new creations. You can taste the homemade quality, and the fact that you can see into the kitchen seals the deal for anyone who might still be hesitant. It's a great place at any time of day: perfect for lunch when you're really hungry, but also ideal for a break during the day, whether it's over a good coffee in the winter or a refreshing drink in the summer. It has definitely become my go-to spot during my work weeks. The place is simple, unpretentious, but that's precisely what makes it so charming. Efficient, welcoming, and delicious… a place you'll happily return to again and again!
