Hello, The products offered in the pastry and bakery sections are numerous and of good quality. The same cannot be said for the staff who sell them. This morning I encountered a salesperson who didn't know the products they were selling (I asked for a pastry, he brought me one I hadn't ordered; I asked for a baguette, he brought a sourdough baguette). I had to repeat myself several times. When it came time to pay, he had to ask a colleague where to type on the till, and it took him five minutes to insert a bill into the machine before one of his colleagues took the initiative to do it for him. It's as if the sales profession isn't suited to this person or they lack the necessary training.

It's a real pleasure to have a bakery like Bettant in our Gratte-Ciel neighborhood in Villeurbanne. The service is always impeccable: the entire team is pleasant, smiling, friendly, and attentive to customers. You feel right at home as soon as you walk through the door. The selection of breads and pastries is simply exceptional, with high-quality products and a wonderful variety. The daily specials change very regularly and are often original, which makes you want to come back to discover the new creations. You can taste the homemade quality, and the fact that you can see into the kitchen seals the deal for anyone who might still be hesitant. It's a great place at any time of day: perfect for lunch when you're really hungry, but also ideal for a break during the day, whether it's over a good coffee in the winter or a refreshing drink in the summer. It has definitely become my go-to spot during my work weeks. The place is simple, unpretentious, but that's precisely what makes it so charming. Efficient, welcoming, and delicious… a place you'll happily return to again and again!
