My partner and I recently entered into a civil partnership, and to celebrate, our company offered a €35 voucher per person to a randomly selected restaurant. We ended up at La Maison des Vins, a restaurant we'd never been to before because we don't drink alcohol, so we weren't sure we'd enjoy it. Since we had a voucher, we booked a table for lunch, and what a surprise! The setting is superb, the place is beautifully decorated, welcoming, and warm. Everything is lovely, with the ambiance of a wine cellar. The staff was fantastic, very friendly and pleasant! But let's talk about the food! It's exceptional; I've never eaten in such a good restaurant, easily worthy of a Michelin star! The salad we had as a starter was divine, the croutons were excellent, a complex blend of flavors, yet perfectly combined—my mouth is watering just thinking about it. The main course continued in the same vein with a fish fillet, mashed potatoes, and vegetables. It was so well-balanced; I'd never eaten parsnips before, yet they were excellent in this combination. The dessert, a chocolate hazelnut caramel ganache, was magnificent. The presentation was superb, as with everything else. I don't usually like caramel, but this one was superb. The chef played with different textures, adding a honey wafer that made it even better, and especially the combination of chocolate and mint—I'd never tried it before, but I loved it! And the highlight of the meal: this entire delicious menu for ONLY €23! Honestly, it was perfect. I would go back every day if I could! To briefly mention the wine cellar, we had €20 left, which we spent on non-alcoholic drinks recommended by the excellent sommelier, who knows his products perfectly and gave us all the necessary advice! A very warm welcome. The staff are young, dynamic, and very pleasant. The room is perfect for an intimate setting. They offer high-quality appetizer platters. For an evening out for two or with a group, go without hesitation!

A beautiful place for a tasting or lunch at the excellent bistronomic restaurant!!! A great discovery.

Struggling to find an idea for an aperitif (because there are so many choices), I was advised, based on my tastes, to make a cocktail with strawberries, lychees, and Japanese plum liqueur... A GEM!!!!
