Maison Des Vins sur Ancenis

An excellent lunch! A wonderful discovery at the Maison des Vins d’Ancenis! We had a fantastic time enjoying fresh, refined, and flavorful cuisine. I particularly enjoyed the market fish, served with a perfectly cooked chive cream. The side dishes were also excellent: peas, pickled red onions, baby carrots, a light and airy carrot purée, and pea shoots… A lovely combination of textures, freshness, and flavor. And to finish, a light and delicious fresh cheese with apricots and speculoos, which was the perfect ending to the meal. Refined cuisine, beautifully presented ingredients, and a keen eye for flavor combinations. All this in a very pleasant setting on the banks of the Loire. An address I wholeheartedly recommend, and one I will gladly return to!

We arrived after visiting an exhibition. We were looking forward to a good beer and a non-alcoholic cocktail with a view of the Loire River and the Ancenis Bridge. We opted for a mixed charcuterie and cheese board. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Passing through the Maison des Vins d'Ancenis on the Loire à Vélo cycle route. In the sweltering heat, we sat on the terrace and enjoyed two delicious platters made with carefully selected products.
