Excellente galette des rois la meilleure que j’ai dégusté dans le 8e arrondissement Elle est bien équilibrée légère et bien savoureuse Petit bémol son prix Mais quand on aime on ne compte pas Jean Jacques restaurant jj 34, rue de Penthièvre 8e

Saturday’s selections were delightfully delectable. We loved it so much, we returned on Sunday. Unfortunately the Sunday items were not fresh.

The cappuccino we had was sweetened. Did not expect that. Nice place to sit and friendly staff. Did not try-out cake nor food.

Self Service Tuileries

09/05/2024: Also an ideal place to go with students when we come to Paris on a trip. We have been repeating dinners at this self-service for years. The food satisfies the students and also the teachers, since we can choose between nine dishes, accompanied by a starter and a dessert also to choose from more than ten options. The quality-price ratio is unbeatable, especially when it comes to Paris. They also adapt to our schedule and the service, starting with the manager and the waiters, passing through the kitchen, which is very appreciated. We will return one more year. À bientôt!
30/04/2024: I ate at the Tuileries self catering restaurant around 2015..I have good memories.It was good.I hope to go back there.The only problem would be a ramp for disabled people....☺️

26/01/2024: Un vrai café haut de gamme au comptoir pour un prix raisonnable place de la madeleine. Les matins des parisiens ont encore de beaux jours.
16/01/2024: The food is ok but the neither the quality nor the portions nor the presentation is at the level of the price on the menu. I ordered a croque Mme and received it with a tiny peice if lettuce on the side, I thought it looked ridiculous and that they should put some greenery on the side, like all the other croque mrs served in paris. I can see the changes that they made to make them look like the famous group of cafes in paris but it would’ve been better being themselves and sticking to their own identity.
