Fifteen years later, I return, and something falls back into place. No theatrics, no attempt to impress. Just a house, people, a way of welcoming that can't be manufactured. You sit down, and the rhythm changes. People speak more quietly, look around, breathe differently. At a certain point, you understand that you haven't come to "eat at a restaurant," but to be received somewhere. And that, today, is almost a luxury. The cuisine embodies this same truth: simple in appearance, but full of flavor. I still think about that poached egg, and that pavlova, devoured in an instant. Nothing tries to impress, and yet everything lingers.
A truly unforgettable dinner. The setting is idyllic, the house is a dream, the dishes are sophisticated and delicious, and Jean's service was absolutely excellent. A complete success. We would go back tomorrow.
A magnificent place—the surroundings, the house, the decor…and a more than warm welcome. We had a very pleasant time. The food was a delight; from the appetizer to the dessert, everything was delicious. A wonderful discovery. We will definitely be back.
A very pleasant place, incredibly charming inside, the decor, the tableware... MAGNIFICENT!
The food is perfect.
A wonderful discovery. Ready to return in the warmer months to enjoy the outdoors.
You feel right at home; you're welcomed into their home, not a restaurant.
Thank you, Guillaume and Jean.
Just like home!
Guillaume is very attentive and offers excellent advice.
And his brother, who delights you in the kitchen.
See you soon!
We hope to see you again soon.
