Maison Papillon sur Lille

Very nice little pastry shop with a wide choice of sweet and savory products. The staff is very kind, patient and helpful and the products are of excellent quality. Prices are average but correct for the quality of the products offered

The cold sandwich I got was ok. I wanted panini, but all they had left were cheese paninis. I got the combo, a sandwich, a bottle of water, and a dessert. The price was not bad. Seating was available up upstairs, which was nice. My 2 MAIN complaints were the lady's' restroom, there was no toilet paper and to top that off, the shared hand sinks had NO hand soap at both dispensers. That was disgusting. Does this mean the staff had not been washing their hands with soap after using the restroom? Something to think about.... Eeewww

Excellent pastries! 😋 very nice decor upstairs. The service needs to be reviewed: difficult to understand each other and useless gloves when the same ones for serving, tapping on the cash register and in front of the mouth to cough 😬

Went to Lille for a long weekend and found this boulangerie for breakfast each day. Amazing food. Pastries made in heaven. Lovely service. Would highly recommend.

Very disappointed with the quality for the price (€32 for 7 pastries) biscuit with an unpleasant taste and soaked in a particular syrup. Invaded by midges upstairs, very disappointed I will not return and I will not recommend.

The products are very good, the staff are very pleasant, however the invasion of flies and midges at the top is how to put it... omnipresent and it doesn't look very clean.

Amazing food, we eat really well! Having been in charge of a bakery for several years, I recommend this one. BUT! Since everything can't be perfect, there had to be a but: something would have to be done about the midges which invade the floor and which prevent us from eating peacefully. Otherwise the decoration is great, the music too and the staff friendly depending on the day. ;)
