The food was delicious and very fresh. The goat cheese salad was amazing. However, the service was incredibly slow, even for a French place. It seemed that there were only 1-2 waiters and 1 chef. Other guests also seemed frustrated by this. Luckily the ambience and views were very nice.

My favorite address in Saint-Paul de Vence. The cuisine is super good and inventive, the products are fresh, everything is homemade, the welcome is top notch. And the icing on the cake is that the terrace offers a breathtaking view. I recommend 300%!!!

Had a lovely dinner at Malabar. Very lucky to secure the last table for the evening. Fully booked and with good reason. Incredible food (best meal on this trip so far) and view. Highly recommend this place.

as other have commented the service is slow but the guy that served us was very friendly and explained that the kitchen is small and there's only one chef cooking in there. We had breadsticks and nibbles and the food was worth waiting for. it was delicious and very good value. It was the last night of our stay in St Paul and I wish we'd gone to this restaurant earlier!

Chosen at random from a wide selection of restaurants, this was a good choice. We liked the very Mediterranean slant to the menu compared to some of the others. The service was a little slow but they were busy. We had the lunch menu with 2 courses - the starters were interesting and and the cod provencale was lovely. The view is fantastic, right down to the sea and la Napoule.

16/09/2024: Très belle endroit Le cadre est magnifique , le personnel très agréable On a très bien manger, super hamburger Dommage que les accompagnements des plats soient en plus (7€) pour des pommes de terre grenailles
11/06/2024: Que ce soit la terrasse du restaurant, la vue, ou bien même l'ambiance, c'est magnifique. Ensuite coté service ils ont été parfait. Pour le repas nous nous sommes régalés, que ce soit avec les poissons ou les viandes. Les choix de vins ne sont pas pléthores, mais suffisant pour y trouver une jolie surprise. Bref une belle découverte, pour passer un superbe moment entre amis ou en famille. A faire absolument

Le fromager de saint Paul

21/09/2024: This is a lovely little shop. It is small and has authentic. The owner saw me peeking in from outside and invited me in. You can choose from the items in the case like lasagne and pissaladière, and they will serve it to you outside at the table, or you can take it to go. I saw a gorgeous apple tart, and ordered a piece for my breakfast, which is a very un-French thing to do, I know, but whatever. It was delicious. The next day we went there and got the most amazing sandwiches on fresh baguette with our choice of cheese and meat with fresh heirloom tomatoes and homemade pesto. The sandwiches are very generously sized and just 10 euros. I could only eat half. This is a beautiful place to have lunch or put together a perfect picnic. You can also sit at a table in the sweet outdoor seating area and order from the menu. As I said, this place is authentic, unlike so many other places in very touristy areas. I believe she caters to those who really want to enjoy fresh and beautiful food from the south of France. As a side note, there was a crate of fresh chanterelles inside, which looked so amazing. When I commented on them, the owner said in the restaurant she would make me an omelette with them, which I don’t think is even on the menu. Please do not overlook this charming business while you are in Saint-Paul-de-Vence
