We had lunch on the terrace along the Royal Canal, well protected from the sun with a breeze to cool us down. We enjoyed the oysters from the Thau lagoon and the sardines in escabeche served as the daily special, both generous and excellent, all washed down with a chilled Picpoul and a little municipal water.

We spent 4 days in Sète and came 3 times to this address which proved to be a safe bet for us from the first visit! Indeed, very good Sétoise-style brasserie cuisine, and attentive, good advice and very pleasant service.

09/09/2024: Place chosen by chance while passing by to see “the spoon”, just perfect place! Mojito very good, tapas a delight, the meats were tender (duck breast and tender steak perfect!!), fragrant...the home fries don't taste like oil! Everything was perfect thank you! Top service, staff Courteous at the end of the season is rare! Thank you for this moment appreciated by three customers this afternoon!
05/09/2024: Excellent fish, successfully cooked and accompaniments that harmonize well with the dish. Fair price for the quality received. Well recommended restaurant. Shaded area near the very popular port.

05/12/2024: Good welcome, pleasant service. Original setting and well located. After an appreciable starter, big disappointment with the soufflé tart, more burnt than soufflé as well as the candied clementine dessert which is only candied in name..... too bad! The salmon dish was good. Perhaps better reviews on the breakfast part with cakes and cookies than the restaurant part.
24/11/2024: We shared a Sunday brunch as a family. Great welcome, the cuisine is tasty and generous. The coffee is excellent 😉
